Buying new washing machine, don't want soap drawer on the left !

    Yes I've started having a look at these, and as you say this is probably the cheapest option. It doesn't solve my problem of the left hand drawer being awkward to use if you have a left hand disability, but it should at least fit and open okay.


    I never thought that buying a new washing machine would be such a palaver !

    My son had one in his flat with the powder drawer on the left BUT it would swing out on a pivot, rather than pull out straight. Would that help?
    I'm pretty sure it was a Candy but not sure how old it was.
    I agree with the comments about Hotpoints.

    It would depend on which way it swings - if you see what I mean! :D


    We used to have a Candy dishwasher which lasted for about 25 years, so I would be open to another Candy appliance - although I don't suppose they make them like that any more....
