When they had the CAB test board running, there was a splash screen that came-up the first time anyone went on to it that explained the rules - IIRC it also linked to the sticky/CAB directly, so it is possible.0 -
Why don't you make this post a sticky? Then you won't have to keep bumping it!0

good question
because the MSE admin staff here have decided they dont like sticky threads so have a policy of as few as possible and wont add any more which crabman reported on quite some time ago0 -

There is no point is getting this stickied either unlike the NEWBIE which I requested the MSE to keep stickied and they agreed. The advice to deal with debt collectors is well covered in the NEWBIE thread.
What is missing though is the details on how to check the POPLA code with the Parking Cowboys checker, which was included and now missing.
With POPLA codes only valid for 28 days that is more vital information to provide.0 -

Hands up, I also started a thread in June last year. I did everything wrong-posted on someone else's thread, got told off, started my own, got told to read the newbies first and then my head exploded! The reason was I WAS worried, moreso when the ZZPS letters appeared, upping the ante with their threats.
I found it difficult to take in all the information available while worrying about where it was going to end. This sort of stuff isn't my field of expertise by a country mile and never will be, and I admitted as much.
What I got was patience from what I called 'more learned' members of the forum and massive reassurance that the likes of ZZPS and their evil twin Wright Hassall didn't have the power to take me to court I felt much better and then found reading the various threads/advice on offer much easier (lets be honest there is a lot to trawl through).
I understand fully the frustrations of Coupon Mad and co regarding debt collectors letters, but these are a result on here of PCNs so its a natural progression. Like I said, my head exploded long before I got to the paragraph stating that debt collectors cannot take you to court, only the landowner/PPC are able to do this.
Just a suggestion, but maybe a heading stating something like NEW TO THREAD-DONT PANIC. DEBT COLLECTORS EG ROXBURGE, ROSSENDALES, ZENITH, ZZPS, WRIGHT HASSALL CANNOT TAKE YOU TO COURT, SEND THE BAILIFFS OR GET A CCJ AGAINST YOU.
NOW relax and read the newbies thread please.
This may just help people like me, who initially worried, panicked, lost some sleep even, to chill a bit and that in itself will help them take in some of the mountain of advice on offer.
I'm eternally grateful to the people who helped and advised me and although I'm still a novice I have posted a couple of pieces of advice on that the more ,learned' members gave me, as a way of paying back a little.
Thanks again.0 -
yes I did but I have just deleted the previous bump post from yesterday as only a single bump serves the purpose and there seem to me more DRP posts as the weekend approaches
thanks for thinking about me though , lol
I will delete my new "bump" now as well, lol (keep things tidy)0 -
