There's one massive "unless" there. And it's very relevant here.
Unless the outcome of the case was already the best possible outcome for you. Which, in this case, it is.
Monetarily the OP can't do any better than they have done, but there's still an obvious interest in the outcome for them.
I'd like to think that if someone's driving was horrendous enough that they'd get banned.
Just like how family of murder victims want their killers sent to prison. Why do you think that is? What do they gain from it? There's no financial gain and it won't bring the victim back.
Answer: there is an obvious interest of proper justice to the victim and the victim's loved ones. The errors are who sat where right? I cant see the changing of that having any effect on anything or would it?
It could - see my previous posts. Their evidence could be called into question if the police didn't think they were independent. By putting them in the OP's car rather than on the bus, they are less likely to be considered independent.Strider590 wrote: »I'd want my sh*t paid for and my costs covered, I would not go in a personal vendetta against someone who simply had an ACCIDENT.
There's no other reason for going after the case files OTHER than going on a witch hunt.
How do you know it was a complete accident; what if the bus driver had been reading a book at the time, would you feel the same way then? What will your verse be?

You can can certainly claim compensation for PTSD.Any compensation is SOLELY based on the damage to the car and the injuries suffered. There is no more due. There can be no more due. No mental anguish, no PTSD, no fluffy-bunny-hug.

Of course, there is a distinction between psychological injury and being a bit upset, but assuming you can demonstrate a psychological injury claiming for it is not fundamentally different from claiming for a physical one.0 -

It's not about that - it's about a proper investigation - for the 5982384848384th time.Nodding_Donkey wrote: »Comparing a minor RTC to murder?
Get a grip.
There's a victim, an offender, an investigation involved, and both would travel through the same legal process.. so they are comparable.
People want to see justice served when they or their loved ones are wronged. There's nothing wrong with that. What will your verse be?

I'm guessing the bus driver has carried out the driver awareness course already. Any investigation is very unlikely to affect him, there's a small chance the officers who dealt with it are had a word with0 -
