Quite correct, however I believe (please confirm or deny if you can) that taking the £10 600min 1GB 12 month three sim and adding unlimited data for £3 after sign up is a back door to the best deal around!

This is no longer on new tariffs from July 16th 2014.

If you're on an old tariff then this is still possible but once you move over to the new tariffs the £3 add on is no longer compatible.

If you read my post above (Post 7), these are the only "unlimited" data plans for new customers as of August 2014. There is also Vectone mobile which I haven't mentioned above, they advertise unlimited but have a fair use policy of 3GB. Vectone have the audacity to start charging you once you use this 3GB of data

Until someone (preferably a couple of people) who work for three or have July 2014 contracts tell me it is not possible, I still hope. On a thread a few weeks ago on HUKD, one three employee had to point out to another that the old add-on existed.
Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!

I don't work for Three but I have enough knowledge to say with 100% confidence that my post is right.

It's your choice to no believe me but I only post stuff I know is right on MSE and Digital Spy.

The £3 add on doesn't exist on the new price plans. Fact.

Don't give up - this is the hot topic on the GG forums - even before I read the feeling there & here, I knew it would be a bad idea - I reckon they need to listen - these changes seem to be hated. I honestly fear for their future if the changes go through.

It's a done deal, the whole "consultation" is a scam to to make people think they have a say.

Telefonica have decided they want more profit from Giffgaff (the original 5 year funding plan runs out shortly). I suspect this is is just the first of a number of changes to Giffgaff.

    Exactly this.

Yep, and no 'none of the above' option in their poll either. Anyone care to recommend a good sim only deal with unlimited data?
Virgin Mobile (must have Virgin Media).
    £18 - unlimited everything.

I moved all 5 of us over to Giffgaff in April so I'm a bit irritated I've got to do number ports again if I go somewhere else. I don't want to pay £20 for unlimited data. I need a PAYG deal. I don't want a pay monthly deal. Does anyone know if 3 is a PAYG deal or not. Anyone know what PAYG there is for unlimited data. Thanks.

Three off a £15 add-on giving unlimited data (and it really is unlimited), along with 300 minutes and 3000 texts included. It's called the "All in one 15"
