I won't use energysavingled because they are still using an 0844 telephone number.0

Yes, I wondered what on earth was going on, too. Nothing anybody said was out of order.
Looks like all of elstimpo's contribution is gone, a few of my posts too.
The only thing I can think is that MSE felt that elstimpo's connection to EnergysavingLED made his posts adverts. It was a very weak advertising effort if it was!0 -

Yeah it is odd, I don't believe there was anything out-of-place posted.

I noticed this the other day. Interesting one, if my company and products are being discussed on the forum, am i not allowed to comment? Tried my best not to break any rules, didn't name the company and didn't give my full name.
Odd one.0 -
asda was selling 3 packs of duracel led bulbs for 5 pound a while back....so you can get branded ones cheap
Chris, elstimpo has always been totally upfront that he runs <that website> and has given great advice without spamming or advertising, and has always been upfront about being a seller.
Anyway, another actual real-life forum user with another actual real-life review of a product:Just to say I bought a batch of these LED's from the OP ebay shop. Came yesterday and I cant fault them.
Cheap way to upgrade all my standard bayonet bulbs in 1 hit. Thanks0 -
I got the e14 warm white which came yesterday and to get a couple of convertors from another ebay seller for e14 to b22. I found the bulb bright got one in hallway, one in landing and two in reasonable sized bedrooms so far.
The warm white is a lot more yellow than previous warm white led bulbs I have got mainly gu10 in kitchen and ones in living room and dining room. Quite happy with the bulbs though. Good buy given price and output0 -
I posted here yesterday but it seems to have been deleted - anyone want to let me know what rules I broke?
elstimpo also posted and his post has gone.
Yes, MSE really should sort this 1.
They delete a post and everyone below moves up a number. Makes little sense trying to read cross referenced posts, when the numbers are wrong.
Yes delete the text, but insert POST DELETED in it's place.
It's worse when someone reports spam within an otherwise useful post, it disappears.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
I do recall seeing elstimpo post yesterday and whilst I am first to jump down on spammers personnally I think his post was just being helpful. I realise its a difficult act sometimes to be fair and balanced.
I think these bulbs sold by a 3rd party are great value given price of led bulbs I have spent over £10 a bulb on branded led bulbs before like Megaman and Aurora and with these you get 6 and instant light unlike CFL the other energy saving bulbs you get0
