We have moved mortgage providers when we switched to f1rst d1rect. I remember it being similar to applying for a new mortgage in terms of paperwork requested. However, customer service eased the stress! We were well updated throughout the process. Hope that helps!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Thanks Cath. I have a bit more research to do
Just nipped in with an update on my aunt. Turns out she has a cyst on her kidney. Been moved to a specialist hospital and having surgery tomorrow. She's comfortable apparently.

Fingers crossed for an uneventful/successful surgery for your aunt tomorrow!0

Morning
My aunt's surgery went well and they are keeping her in for a few days to check all ok...but looking positive. Thanks for the well wishes
Been a busy few days on the work front. Things are a bit unsettled as the company I work for is in the middle of takeover talks...so no-one really knows what the future holds. I'm just trying to take each day as it comes and not worry too much (which is of course easier said than done!)
Had a dusting of snow last couple of mornings and today there has been a heavy frost. Winter is definitely here now....brrrr! I'd love to stay indoors today but I'm meeting a friend for lunch.
Small OP today of £1.02 - which was a cashback payment that arrived. Quite a few waiting to become payable....fingers crossed they are quick... but I doubt it :rotfl:
I've also requested first survey payment of the year - £10.30 - which will be OP'd when it arrives.
I've still got some more research to do on the mortgage front and also look at some more car insurance quotes *sigh* - boring but necessary
Have a good day

Had a very pleasant couple of hours nattering with some friends over coffee and cake as an early birthday treat for me. Simple pleasures
I'm looking forward to a chilled evening of films and catch up tv and trying not to think about the dreaded work tomorrow

Pleased to hear that your aunt's surgery went well.
Sorry to hear about the take-over news at work, like you said, all you can do is take it one day at a time.
We didn't get any snow here either, just a very, very slight dusting and now all that's left is a few patches of ice - yak!
Hope this week is kind to you.

Well that's 'Blue Monday' over... although I felt less down that the other weeks so far in January. Trust me to be out of sync...:rotfl:
Work passed without too much trauma. I've had a few admin type tasks to sort on the banking front and moving some money around for a better interest rate.
Still looking into car insurance and mortgage stuff - hard to make myself do it after work...but the former needs sorting some time this week. The latter is not quite so desperate yet.
A few surveys done tonight and I am close to claiming vouchers on 2 sites.
Still a week til payday... *sigh*

Good Morning
Help yourself to some birthday cake if you are passing

Thanks for popping in Hiddenshadow
I had a lovely chilled day - spent time with family & friends and had some lovely surprise gifts. I feel very blessed
Nothing to report on the OP front. I have a few cashback items due - just waiting on them to arrive.
I have claimed £20 of vouchers from surveys in the last few days. One paper one (DIY chain for house stuff) and the other an e-voucher.
Looking forward to the weekend...almost there
