Hope the physio continues to work well. It can make such a difference.
Had another session this week. I was in agony afterwards but has eased off now. I think it is helping but will be a slow processAn Easter break sounds like a good idea, especially as it uses so few holiday days. Easter time always makes me feel productive around the house and want a project!
I'm counting the days, as can't wait! I would have thought the extension was enough of a project right now Cathno idea how you manage it all - you are a whirlwind!

Woken today with a mouth ulcer
usually only get those when I am feeling run down. I don't feel overly tired or worn out right now (and have had experience of worse before!) so wondering if there are germs loitering that I am not aware of.
May try and get out for a walk later since the rain has finally stopped.
Currently working my way through the Bates Motel boxsets. I didn't think I would like it so never watched it when first on. However, it's got me quite hooked and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all pans out. Anyone else watched it?

Sorry to hear that things are so unsettled at work BW.
I hope that you're taking it easy and having plenty of chill-out time. I think ulcers can be stress related to so that could explain it.
Well done one your OP payment - I'm still loitering at just under £30. I do keep forgetting to log in though
I've not seen Bates Motel - I seem to think it's a horror series, is that right? I'm not good with things that make me jump...although I somehow got addicted to watching The Walking Dead.
I hope this week goes smoothly for you.

Am planning a new bathroom as soon as all this work is done! Not watched Bates motel, some series are addictive though!
MG, if you can handle TWD you can watch most things! I stopped watching it after one particular scene but had a quick recap from dh and am really enjoying this season.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Good afternoon
Can't believe it's been over 2 weeks since I was last here - no idea what happens to the time right now
Mostly been stuck on the work treadmill - which ramps up in March (due to approaching end of financial year). Still waiting to hear about whether a payrise and/or bonus are to be forthcoming. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Otherwise, I have been trying to have chill time in between. Spent last weekend visiting family, which is good as it forces me not to dwell on work (which can only be good thing!) This weekend has been a mixture of chores, sleep and socialising with friends. All relatively cheap though as I'm hanging on til payday.
Couple of small OP's this week - £2.89 from TCB and £6.81 some expenses back.
Not had my £35 survey diary payment yet but have been promised this coming week. Other surveys are ticking along though:
£5 e voucher from GFK
£10.50 claimed from PB (and well on the way to next payout already)
£10 CP voucher requested
Also, very close to a YG payout.
Been having some issues with my pc this week.. and was wondering if it was on it's last legs...however a system restore seems to have sorted it out (I hope!). Not ready for it to give up the ghost yet... although I've had it since 2008 and so it's doing well.
Feeling in the mood for a film, so just about to watch Lucy which was on last night. Never heard of it before but has Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman - so figured must be worth a watch

I would say it's more thriller than horror - although it has had one or two grim bits in it for the couple of series I've watched so far. If you can watch TWD, I think you would it ok with it0 -
Good afternoon
It's been another whirlwind of a week although I feel like I've clawed back some of my sanity a little, which has made me feel a bit happier. Also looking forward to the clock change purely for the lighter nights it will bring. Only 10 more working days to get through and I finally get some time off - soooo can't wait for that.
Thought I would feel more tired today than I do, as I was out last night catching up with some friends I've not seen for ages (and I mean years!) which was fab, but I was up and raring to go fairly early for me.
I decided to make the most of it and have done a few chores and errands that I have been putting off, so feeling a little virtuous. Won't last :rotfl:
Whilst I was out, I popped into Aldeeee. It was absolutely heaving...worst I've seen a supermarket for a long time (even at Xmas!) so I just picked up what I went for and got the heck out. Note to self, don't go on a weekend again
Surveys have gone well this week:
£10 voucher from CP
£15 voucher from VO
£5 voucher from Senses
The £35 payment I was awaiting was credited to my survey account - now awaiting the payment to hit my bank account.
I'm also 1 survey off the YG payout.
I've made a couple of small OP's this week:
£10.50 survey payment
£1.29 cashback item
I have also finally gotten around to backing up the stuff off my old phone and factory restoring it so I can send off for recycling. Only taken me since DecemberGot £42 for it...which isn't masses.... but this was more than double most other sites were willing to pay for it. Also, it's not worth anything sitting on my bookcase gathering dust
Will post Monday and hopefully the payment will be swift.
This is also the first month that I have a clear credit card (as in no spends on it) since September. Feels so good. Determined to keep that up
Finally, car had it's first service. No issues found (which is expected) but I still breathe a sigh of relief when they say that. They also gave it a wash and vacuumed inside too - so looking all nice and shiny

Well done BW! I'm pretty good at clearing my task list, but even I have those tasks that I just, ahem, don't always see on the list for a couple of weeks. Feels GREAT to clear them, right? Once it's done, it's done forever, in the bank, complete.
Also well done on recycling your mobile and cashing in. Such a good way to recycle the phone, make cash and clear the home.
Keep moving forwards

Productive as always BW. I always seem to be honking about my next break from work too, hope Easter comes around quickly.
MOT and service day is usually a worrying day here too, such a relief when no problems are found!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
