Lol - the first post on this thread was 1st Aug and OP didn't tell the council about the house for a few days - this leaving about 3-4 working days !! Do you honestly think the council could have investigated title, boarded it up, decided they want to take from social housing pool to sell it and tender to auction houses etc via their procure dept all in a few days ! ....a least 6 months ( I worked in public sector for 22 years !)Stuck on the carousel in Disneyland's Fantasyland
