No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries August 2014

Seasidedreamer - the sad thing is that for most vets the well being of your pet is secondary to how much money they can get from you or your insurance company. Diet is incredibly important and I think Maddiemay's reply is interesting, maybe he needs to have his food looked at, we had a Labrador who had 'hot spots' on his feet, they were sore and weepy and itchy and the vet never managed to cure it but if I knew then what I know now about diet I could have probably have sorted it myself.
I have two uu
Body Shop White Musk Libertine Shower Gel 200ml, WBA
Body Ship White Musk Libertine Body Lotion 200ml, WBA, this is lovely, more like a milk and sinks in really nicely.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

For anyone who has read my earlier post who does not have a dog or cat living with them and not aware of the subject matter, just leave it there, you are better off not knowing:eek::rotfl::eek::rotfl:
Thinking of Kadison too and hoping that all is good.:)
Only slightly OT this time, I normally eat a carb free breakfast, today I had a brunch of HM guacamole and flatbread and I now feel so tired, sluggish and yuk:(, not sure how to get rid of the feeling, excercise bike perhaps to get the blood flowing? The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. to the vet bill - hope your pooch is better soon seaside dreamer. Sounds like people on here have some good ideas about other things that may help
Few UU here:
142 - Hugo Boss Jour Body Lotion 100ml
143 - La Roche Posay Astringent Lotion 200ml
144 - The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil 100ml
The problem is, my stash is now pretty much under control (apart from make up which is a massive problem, as previously mentioned) so this means I need to replace all of the above :rotfl: I don't have a stash of anything now apart from make up, hair styling products and face moisturisers. Think I will pop into the body shop this afternoon and pick up a new cleanser and a body butter. Would like to try a toner from there too but am scared to switch my skin care routine around in case it breaks me out. Need a new conditioner too as current one is spluttering.
Am making a concerted effort to use some of my make up. Have worn eyeshadow the past few days which I hardly ever do - been wearing shades from the Too Faced chocolate bar palette. They are lovely but this is so overpriced, think it was about £45  although I did use some money off codes/vouchers when I bought it. Think I am going to sell some of the palettes I have that I have never used.0 -
hope all (and their pets) are well or getting better.

I have returned at just the right time! I had to clean Bandit bunny's anal glands just last weekend, I had never known before that rabbits had anal glands never mind how to clean them. Stinky job!
I disappeared for a while as RL took over and the pampering has just fallen completely by the wayside. Last time I posted my mother had just been admitted to hospital, after more than a month of backwards and forwards, endless calls to the hospital, screaming phone calls from my mother during episodes of mental incapacity she is now back home and our relationship is restored to its usual estrangement :wall: Add in a severe cold, a dose of norovirus and having a 'big' birthday ... it's been a time!
I've had a clear out of old makeup along with several UUs over the last 2 months.

Herbal essences uplifting volume shampoo 400ml
Herbal essences uplifting volume conditioner 400ml
I'm trying to up the pampering to put my life back in balance, I hope you've all been well0 -
Thanks for the tips all, we have tried a Hilton herbal itchy dog trial but that helped but not cured it. Never tried cider vinegar but will def give that a go, a damn sight cheaper:-) He probably won't like the taste either so that will stop him biting too:T
Back on subject, a few splutters but a UU today, nothing exciting- Timotei vivid Colour shampoo. Christmas cards in the shops:eek: I'm busy dreaming of what toiletries might be in store in the Lush and Boots books:ADebt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
I'm ashamed to say I cleared out some drawers and found makeup I don't even remember buying.0

I have no UU, and I don't think any INs for you at all this month, August is turning into a none month as far as toiletries go...
But I did think it was worth mentioning I got the Garnier - Ultimate Blends shampoo and conditioner while I was house sitting because I ran out of the ones I took with me... I got the brown one for dry frizzy hair and well all I can say is it's pants, it does nothing for my hair, it leaves a residue on it no matter how much I wash it out I can't get rid of it. It actually reminds me of a boots own shampoo and conditioner I used last summer, equally pants, only this is a lot more expensive.
I also just got the L'Oreal casting creme sunkiss jelly it's supposed to make the sun lighten your hair, not really had the sun to try it yet but fingers crossed when back down in Devon next week
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
rogueylawyer, fellow bunny mamma here. Hi!
1 UU
I love coconut & cream bubble bath – WNBA, liked the smell but not enough bubbles! No more bubble bath or shower gel left now. I wonder if I have any samples of anything that can be repurposed to save me making another purchase!
1 TA
Amplifier (test product)
What was the point of keeping this so long? Didn't do much and I didn't pay for it so why leave it cluttering up the bathroom.
1 IN
Cien Body Milk with almond oil.No more goo hoarding!
