  • I haven't gotten round to counting the number of bottles I have as I'm in the process of moving house...but I know it's a shameful amount! I will post once I get round to counting them all though! :o

I managed to use up 3 bottles in the last week. I always use the same seaweed range from the Body Shop for my facial care products- face wash/scrub/moisturiser etc.. And as I needed more moisturiser (I finished the two that were almost empty before purchasing! :A ) I went along to the Body Shop, and as they have a constant 3 for 2, and my body shop 10% discount, I got my 2 moisturisers, but I bought toner... Naughty! I have never used a toner in my life! I know I technically didn't pay for it, but I could have gotten a free face wash or more moisturiser, which I DO use. So I bought an extra bottle...a very bad impulse buy. Back on the wagon as of today!

good news DH has agreed to go on holiday :)
bad news only one week available in September for him to take and means travelling on expensive flight :(

?what ever happened to £1 flights???????
means I now have to quickly sort out a holiday that does not involve a 3 a.m start! and now need to cancel my long awaited manicure this week as will need shellac removal whilst on holiday(DH says why is being a woman so complicated?!)
not bought any toiletries for ages now :) hence non toiletry post LOL
got a result on ebay for unpaid fake tan and sold two things this week so pleased.Does anyone know has ebay stopped sending emails when you get outbid and lose an item?as not had any recently. Also had a bid on some beads cancelled as mine was the only bid at 1p!!!!!!everytime I bid on 1p lots this seems to happen....bit of a con I think!
hope all well with ladies and pets

Well erm I haven't brought many products but I have kind of just got a £6k loan to get a newer car! It happened so easily I'm in shock.

Anyway...I brought V05 hair oil - I do actually use it all the time and a Pantene leave in conditioner. Other than those and a 6k debt I'm doing good :o)

  • Hi everyone,

Not had as much time to post in last few weeks as DS is on holidays so we've been out and about.

Willowbee sorry to hear about your cat:( lots of hugs to you.
Also sorry to hear about everyone's pet troubles...thankfully I have never had to clean anal glands either!
roguey good to see you back, after your hellish few weeks it sounds!
Pickle i've had that experience before, it's very stressful and not pleasant! Leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you've paid lots of money for products and you can't have them back:(

Went with mum to London this weekend for an overnight stay which was fab...went to see the Bodyguard musical which I highly recommend. Although I think it's finishing in the west end soon but believe they're touring with it. Alexandra Burke played Rachel Marron and her voice is unbelievable!

Spent about 3 hours (inc lunch) in Whole Foods on High Street Ken lol that's like Mum's mecca, she needs to go on a pilgrimage there every so often :p

Been rather slow on the UU's this month
Elemis body scrub - WMBA liked this as it was very scrubby but not sure i'd pay Elemis prices for a body scrub:cool:

Got a few sachets of Aesop and Jurlique from my friend so i'll be using those up post haste to stop them languishing in my drawer.

    Hi everyone,

Not much movement on the toiletries front from me, though I've started packing ready for hols next week and it's so nice not having to purchase a single thing - have shopped solely from stash! Lots of UUs expected.

    One UU from the weekend:

24/205. Sanctuary Salt Scrub 60g - WNB, came as part of a set and dislike the greasy residue it leaves.

kadison how did the weekend go??

Hello all, I haven't read back yet so I hope everyone's well?

The parental meet-up went really well, I was there from Saturday night to this morning hence the late update. They're really nice, funny and down-to-earth, plus they talk about blokie with such pride it made me a little bit sniffly (also jealous for many many reasons!).

I've also come to realise (finally) that I really don't need to compete with him when it comes to intelligence (not that I could!) or anything actually, because I'm ok being good at the stuff I'm good at, I don't need to be good at the same things!

It's such a relief I'm in tears atm, for both reasons, I feel like I've been in this fog of doubt for a while now and it's nice to feel it finally clearing xxx

    *not really here*

Kadison, I just wanted to say (a) I'm so pleased that your weekend went well and (2) I'm even more pleased-er (tis a word ;)) that you've had an epiphany re: your worth. Well done m'love xx

Am on hols, park and south Devon in general is lovely, DD is being a spoilt little cow and has been told that she either bucks up her ideas or she will be on a train back to her Dad's tomorrow. I'm not making idle threats either, I will not have her spoiling the holiday for everyone. SIL has torn the ligaments in her ankle and is on crutches, poor bugg3r, nothing is ever easy for her and her boys!

Apparently I'm going mackerel fishing tomorrow  Hoping I can sneak off and go shopping instead, I'm happy to cook the boys haul but I ain't gutting anything :D

    *slopes off*
