Hello all, I am going to join the challenge after having lurked for a bit! The only thing I can see myself running out of is shampoo, toothpaste, and dry shampoo. I think rummaging will cover cosmetics and skincare for a good few months. I love a new challenge!!September 2014 Grocery Challenge = £160 on target

Welcome bornagainshopaholic, this is a lovely friendly thread
Has been a bit quieter than usual on here recently perhaps because of the summer holidays.
Speaking of holidays, I hope you're enjoying yours Fizz and that DD has sorted herself out.
Sorry to hear about your loss mrs moneypenny, my thoughts are with you.
Well done on all your UU lynseydee, I would say that is huge progress!
Really happy to hear that the weekend went well kadison and that you are feeling good about yourself, as you should - you're fabAnnoying about your neighbours though!
Have had a massive clear out and found another 68 items to take to car boot - predominately make up. The worrying thing is that I still have a huge stash despite getting rid of this little lot  Whatever doesn't sell I am going to donate as I don't want any of it back! Most of it has never been used. What a waste of money.
Also TA 8 items that were old/gone off and listed 5 palettes on ebay. Sad to see them go but again I have never used them!! I am a hoarder of make up. This will boost my UU totals anyway :rotfl:
I also have a UU of L'Oreal Ever Riche Conditioner 250ml, which I have already replaced.
I do have a few INS but these were all 'needed' to replace recent UU -
L'Oreal Ever Riche Conditioner 250ml
The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel Oil 100ml
The Body Shop tea tree toner
The Body Shop grapefruit shower gel
The Body Shop body butter in cocoa butter
Off to update my totals!0 -
Hello all. Just posting to report a UU - Rimmel Black Scandaleyes Eyeliner. :j
I'm happy to see the back of it though, it was not a great eyeliner.
I've almost finished off another eyeliner too! And have a new one in the drawer, which I'm also determined to finish off, in that order!'Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.'

So tired this week but slowly dragging myself through to the weekend, hope there's time for some pampering:T
Couple of UUs:
BS Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream
Ted Baker body spray
IN Lush facemask, its awful I didn't even pay much attention which, its one I haven't tried but it said it was scrubby which is what I like so I swapped my tubs for that one as they didn't have my usual favs.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Morning all! On stupid time thanks to a bout of insomnia earlier in the week!
I was finally going to introduce blokie to one of MY friends when we all went to Treefest at Westonbirt but her eldest has decided that the BH weekend is the best time to get chicken pox, so that plan's been thwarted, for them at least:o:o
Meanwhile I have been finding the bed in the spare room under all the carp so blokie can escape there when I start snoring like a rhino again! I've tried so many things and nothing works, I had this Nytol foam stuff that was like spraying shaving foam into the back of your throat, utterly horrific to use and did work but wore off after a few hours so he ended up on the sofa again!
I got it on 3 for 2 in Boots with some Snore-eze throat spray and the nasal spray, so I'm hoping the combination of those two will work, they at least say they are effective for 8 hours, so fingers crossed!
He says he doesn't hold it against me as I can hardly help it, I am asleep after all, and he knows I'm trying everything I can, but I feel awful about it:(:(

Hello!
I have UUs:
25/206. Scholl Velvet Smooth Intense Serum 30ml - freebie toi trial, WNB as didn't see any great results.
26/207. TBS Absinthe Purifying hand Cream 30ml - freebie and WMB as I love the scent and it's not greasy, but lots more hand cream to get through first!
I have caved and ordered some undies in order to get the M&S free beauty box...
mrs-moneypenny - hugs to you, so sorry to hear about your loss.
Kadison have you tried the usual suggestions, changing your sleeping position, i.e. avoid sleeping on your back, limiting alcohol before bedtime, etc?MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
This might sound a daft one but apparently doing cardio exercise can help with snoring....
apparently... Though does kind of make sense I try to run couple times a week and that makes my nose run so must do something to the airwaves somehow....
Or I'm just weird... lol!
I snore if I'm ill, as I'm sure everyone does, or if drrink cider, most other forms of alcohol seem fine shame I really like cider...
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -

Yes in that I never sleep on my back (I just can't get to sleep like that) and I don't drink alcohol (well, very rarely), so no improvements to be made thereThis might sound a daft one but apparently doing cardio exercise can help with snoring....apparently... Unfortunately it's the back of my throat vibrating (the most common type) rather than my nose, but I am starting cardio anyway so we'll see.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
