    Hi ladies,

    2 UU:
Radox spa care foam bath 500ml. WIBA? I adored this scent, but it's been discontinued now, plus no more bath :( I think I might have one more shower gel version of it left in my stash.

Nip+fab dry leg fix 45ml. WIBA? I quite liked this, absorbed well and left my legs smooth. I have gallons of moisturiser to get through first.

    INS:
A Crabtree and Evelyn soap which is currently in use.
5x Nivea in shower cocoa butter sample sachets.

    UU:3 INS:6

I started work at 3:30 this morning, came home after finishing up and decided to go for a nap, some time between me going to bed and waking up our water has gone off :( was so very much looking forward to a pampering shower :( shouldn't have gone for that nap I guess. More annoyed about it being a half decent day and could have had washing out by now!
Hopefully Scottish water will sort the problem soon.

FizzWhizz - happy holidaying and pleased to hear you've managed some "you" time recently. That conservatory sounds grim! I would have been too emabarrassed to have you clean it if it was my home!
I think anyone who has a cleaner pretty quickly gets over any embarrassment about the state of their home :rotfl: To be fair, the vast majority of the houses I visit are far cleaner than my own :o Most of my customers are elderly and their homes are spotless, but just too big for them to manage on their own now. I get the warm and fuzzies from being able to help out so they're not overdoing it, or fretting about it building up :)

FizzWhizz - I have the nSPA hot cloth cleanser but I had a break out and blamed that, I know you have fussy skin too, was yours OK with it then? Have a lovely holiday btw.

My skin is better than it has been in months, although of course I have a big spot brewing just in time for hols :p I definitely broke out more with the superdrug naturally radiant HCC, but I was using that before the EL serum and moisturiser combination so maybe that's what caused my skin to clear up so much rather than the nSpa HCC. Actually, thinking about it, the spot which is emerging (and itching, I HATE that) is the first I have had in several weeks and I only moved away from the EL moisturiser this week; I hope to goodness it's not the garnier moisturiser I'm using now. I can't afford more EL

Wow, stream of consciousness much?! :rotfl: can you tell I'm procrastinating over packing? I really need to shift myself…

ETA, dolly, I was thinking this over as I was dropping off the hammies for their hollies; whilst I've been using the nSpa HCC I've also been following it up with Elemis Tri-Enzyme facial wash, so in effect I've been double cleansing. The Elemis one can't be used to remove makeup so it doesn't feel like an unnecessary step for me, maybe you could try another cleanser after the nSpa too?

I was just thinking, I might (next week, I don't have time now) post a photo of my ENTIRE stash if I can, it will make me feel better I think and I can update it as I go, month by month.....

I've sent the boyfriend to get some drawer organisers from Ikea so tomorrow I'll be sorting out my stash. This looks like a great idea and something that I could REALLY do with participating in. We've not long moved and I keep finding toiletries hidden away. Whoops!
New to this money saving lark. Any tips greatly received.

Oooh good idea, it would be good to see the pile going down but in honesty the thought of dragging it all out of it's hiding places and then putting it back is a bit off putting.

Thanks FizzWhizz, I do double cleanse the other way around, first I use Body Shop Aloe Cleanser then follow it up with a balm or hot cloth cleanser. I may try it your way when I've used up my current products.

I know exactly how you feel, I joined the NSK challenges back in January and that put a stop to it all for me, I too have debt and needed to deal with it. This month is NSK's last month but we are carrying on and each month a new member of the group will be running the challenge. Why don't you pop over and give it a go? Here's the link. You could get the idea for the rest of August and then join in September, great group of people over there too.

Thanks dolly - it's really inspiring how well you have been doing with not buying and clearing your debt. The NSK challenges look great, I have read some of them before. I have managed to pay an extra £150 off a credit card this month so that's a good start.

KT2802 - I have read Gone Girl, I liked it but didn't love it. I have just read The Ocean At The End Of The Lane and that was really good. I also tried Night Circus but after 250 pages I gave up, it was very atmospheric which I loved but nothing happened. I would recommend Rivers of London and Moon Over Soho, they are great. Sorry for going off topic.

Thanks for the book recommendations. I have read Rivers of London, it was good but I found it quite hard to get into for some reason. Interesting to see that lots of people found the ending of Gone Girl disappointing. I will probably finish it this weekend so will let you all know what I think.

Thanks for all the support and tips re the debt ladies - it's really appreciated. You are all such a lovely bunch.

For anyone who has stashes of make up - if they are premium brands i.e MAC, NARS, Illamasqua etc, then try to sell them on Twitter using the hashtag #bbloggers - I sold a whole ton of lipsticks that way! MAC lipsticks seem to do particularly well.

Oooh thanks for this, I'm not on twitter but would consider joining to do this. Do you think you get more for things via this rather than Ebay? Guess there's no fees etc this way.

Good luck again kadison, good idea about the stash picture too.

That is soooo true :A animals give so much and I feel lucky to have had so many kind animals in my life.

I finally have an OUT - Superdrug body souffle, WBA lovely and luxurious, I can't remember it's make but it had a lovely scent, and left my skin really soft. It was a round tub with a brown lid if that helps :o

    Hi everyone!

I've been MIA so far this month. I've just come back from a week away and disaster struck at the airport when the pernickety security man wheedled my clear liquids bag away due to some minor issue, didn't send it through and I was in a tizzy rushing for my plane meaning that I have lost lots of toiletries in transit at the airport.

I lost a few minatures and that doesn't fuss me in the slightest, but I am considerably less happy about having lost my super expensive foundation and five professional nail products. I am lucky that my make-up was in my separate make-up case, else I would have lost literally everything. While away I had to invest in a new foundation (which was even more expensive than it is here) and I found a reasonable price on a new bottle of perfume as I am down to one bottle here and I normally have an 'everyday' and a 'going out' bottle of perfume on the go at any one time.

Anyway, I had better go and cry into, sorry, update my signature I hope you are all keeping well. xxx
