Hello all,
1 UU so far: a ted baker foam bath 400ml. This is lovely, used the last bit of it up as shower gel as my new house doesn't have a bath, just a shower, sob
I gave away *I think* all my bubble baths to my mum last month, there's probably some minis still in gift sets that will be discovered eventually.
Hope everyone is well, welcome Steffie, this is a lovely thread, I've been reading it for well over two years now0 -
I have found a brilliant way to use up tinted moisturiser that you don't particularly like as a face product is to moisturise your legs with it instead - it is as easy to apply to the legs as normal moisture cream and makes legs not so pasty pale and evens the skin tone when you haven't got around to doing them with gradual tan.
It doesn't seem to transfer onto clothes or furniture either, and stays put all day (unlike on my face) probably because my legs don't seem to get greasy like my face does.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -

I've been doing the exact same thing with a sample of Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser I received in a birchbox because the shade was way too dark.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Just caught up with the thread, wow some exciting news on here!
No UUs or INs so that's something I suppose.
Just back from a cycle, ended up being more of a walk as got a puncture and as I tried to fix it ended up bursting the new inner tube, so had to push it home. I am not impressed, at least I hadn't gone too farLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

TOTAL STASH Originally 220 now 215!!!!!Okay so I've updated my stash list as above, despite using up items I seem to accumulated more!!!! In fairness I will be selling the Vie Cleansing Balm as it is far too oily for me. I have bought more HCC's but they are my HG ones the REN and Superdrug ones, both on really good offers (less than half price) so silly not too and the 10 REN 30mls are equivalent to just 2 full size products. I have also added a Liz Earle 100ml to my stash but this was bought to use up Birch Box points so only cost me £3.50 delivered. My eye cream and face cream are almost used so will have a couple of UU's to declare soon. I'm on a fortnights 'staycation' now so planning a bit of pampering so hope to plough through some of the above stash!!
Have a great weekend all 321 xxx

Finally some OUT's to report.
Knock of of channel #5, a gift. Nice enough, but not my favourite scent.
Johnson's refreshing gel wash. Inherited from DD who developed an allergy and in a effort to discover the cause got rid of everything and reverted to all LUSH products. Didn't bother my skin, but probably WNBA, I prefer other face washes.
In was my birthday this week, so although I told family I didn't want/need toiletries, inevitably there were some IN's.
Ted Baker 'Opulent Orchid' body wash, body spray, body souffle' and hand cream.
BS Ananya eau de toilette
LUSH honeybee bath bombs
My OH was on a business trip to China for 3 weeks. He knows I am trying to get my toiletry stash under control, but he brought me back this very pretty retro vanishing cream along with some other souvenirs. The packaging is amazingly feminine, and my phone pic doesn't really do it justice. Inside the cardboard cylinder is a silver tin with 'Midnight rose precious vanishing cream'. There's a date '1932' along with some Chinese writing so I am guessing that is when it was first made. I thought it was so unique I should post a pic.No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!0 -
The good news is the first of my Regis orders arrived; the bad news is DH was off work "sick" today and got to the parcel before I did. The worst news is my second delivery is on its way and will likely arrive tomorrow when he's here too.
BUSTED.
I will update my numbers on Monday. I do have a couple of UU to attempt to rebalance0 -
UU #126: Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Moisturiser 15ml Deluxe Sample; so sad to see this go, I like it even more than Elemis PCMC  Considering the size of the tub it has lasted me ages and ages and has been an absolute pleasure.
I'm with you on this, come the day when I need to buy moisturisers I would be torn between the two.
I have one LHJ finally used up Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser - it's one of those things that just went on and on. I quite liked it to start with, got bored of it, used other cleansers in between and gone back to it. In the end I have to admit that I really do like it and didn't want it to be gone, because its not going to be replaced any time soon. How fickle am I? :rotfl:
In other news, I am clinging onto the dregs of a little Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector that I cut open and have just one more application of Body Shop Divine Calm Lotion left. :TMortgage
Start January 2017: $268,012
Latest balance $266,734
Reduction: $1,278.450 -
Shandyclover - what a pretty gift.
I have a uu
Liz Earle C&P 30ml, I have several full sizes in the stash but no more minis, I do love this and have been using it off and on for many years.
assett - I feel your pain re the puncture, I cycle about 50-60 miles a week and have had my fair share of them.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
Fashion on the Ration 28/660 -
I pulled a fast one and managed to retrieve my second Regis delivery without my DH noticing
No doubt he'll spot the products in the bathroom cupboard but I'm practising my "oh, they've been there for AGES!" innocent face :rotfl:
I've made it up to four UU and have at least another two splutterers.
More details later
ETA, meant to say, I agree Shandy, dead pretty and unique too! Vanishing cream always reminds me of Tom & Jerry, when Jerry found a pot, covered himself so he was invisible and wreaked havoc on poor Tom :rotfl:0
