So lovely to see everyone!! I've missed you lot something rotten but time has been crazy!

I need to have a massive sort out of things so will post a current stash list when I have done it, I graduated about eighteen months ago (apart from that soap mountain but even that is down to 6!!) but I do need to make sure I sort through everything and save as much money as I can!!

For those of you who remember - my horse, Grape, didn't get in foal
Last year - but this year she is and I'm expecting the patter of tiny hooves at the end of march. I'm also expecting the patter of tiny feet early January - bit of a suprise to everyone (not least me!!) but there are lots of people very excited! ( have a guess which I'm more excited by!!)

Also got a new pony, Plum. She's on loan to my friend at the moment, so at least if my child suddenly announces they want a pony I've already got one... ;)
lovely to hear from you and congrats on the news, good to hear something nice

    Hola beauty queens

Have a :( UU for you.

UU #126: Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Moisturiser 15ml Deluxe Sample; so sad to see this go, I like it even more than Elemis PCMC  Considering the size of the tub it has lasted me ages and ages and has been an absolute pleasure. I have another stashed but I'm going to try my "old" moisturiser along with the EL ANR and see if my skin is still ok, I would really like to keep the next jar for when we are in Dubai in October if poss and I cannot afford to buy more right now (just for a change *harumph*)

And I also have some :) NBIs.

IN #74: No7 BB Lips in Blink Pink, 5ml
IN #75: No7 Extreme Length Waterproof Mascara 4.5ml

I was gifted a No7 Set for Summer GWP by a customer today, I don't know when this was released but I know she won't have opened any of the products as she doesn't wear makeup. There's also an eye shadow (which I don't count) in a shimmery taupe shade and a Stay Perfect nail colour in Duck Egg Blue, I don't count nail products either and I don't think this shade is for me so I will pass it on to DD.

city_girl, I use unloved shampoo to clean my bathroom, it works really well and IMHO the bath stays cleaner for longer than if I use a proprietary bathroom cleaner. Plus your hands don't smell all chemically and nasty after you're finished, I'm using a Herbal Essences one atm and it smells like coconut :) I figure as long as it's being put to some use it's not going to waste. I know some others use shampoo etc up in laundry goop but that's beyond me :D

Oh, and I'm using up some Rituals shampoo as shower gel too, as it dried my hair too much. It's doing a great job of keeping me from niffing ;)

Thanks for suggestion fizzwhizz, I'll give it a go as I really do hate that shampoo! Does make you think about what chemicals are in shampoo etc tho doesn't it?
I use regular shampoos/conditioners/shower gel but my mum is a real paraben free advocate. As I'm using things up I am trying to replace with paraben free/sulphate free stuff if I can but quite often you find they just don't work as well. Think things are improving though so I might make more of an effort as surely it's got to be better for you and your hair?
Anyone else got any thoughts on paraben free/sulphate free beauty products?
I'd like to hear recommendations if you have any?

I made a completely new updated list of everything I own last night, including make up. I have highlighted items on my spreadsheet that are on my 'HIT LIST' for this month and hopefully will be able to cross some off.

    I have an 'IN':

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Body Lotion - 250ml

Can't wait to use this, it smells amazing and gets really good reviews. I am more 'into' using body lotion now so hopefully will get good use out of this.

    I also have an 'OUT':

Revlon Colorstay foundation in Sand Beige - gifted the last dregs of this to a friend to try as she was going to replace her Estee Lauder and this is a cheaper version.

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.
  • Thank you all ladies, it really helps to say things out loud or at least type them out and have some positive feedback, my dress is a perfect fit and i really love it so that's one less stress.

fingers crossed someone is coming to look at the car tomorrow but it's looking to be a £200+ job and that's the rest of the fund for our reception room alas...we need a car to get our little one to school so it has to come first.

anyway, I've just started packing some bits away and found 6 hair dyes, 3 after sun creams, a deodorant and 6 packs of false nails so i'm guessing I've been stashing stuff i don't even know about and it'll be a much biggest list by the end of the move.
  • Out Nivea showergel wnba just not zingy

In original source lime shower gel - love it love it live it

Did I post about my lush splurge although that was the end of last month

In angels on bare skin - it's not cheap but I'm having awful skin this month

New - shampoo bar. Partially for my holiday and partially because I've got terrible alopecia at the mo and it might be in my head but I always feel this really helps with regrowth

Mint Julips lip scrub - yes I know as a saving measure I should make my own nut I just wanted it

Alphosyl medicated shampoo is another in. This has coal tar in it and smells vile but if anyone ever gets scalp excema or alopecia or sunburn on your scalp this is the only thing that is amazing with helping. I discovered it when I accidentally set fire to my hair one time (don't ask!!!)
