bah you're all well ahead of me, but I'm poorly so have to let me off
hot and cold flushes this morning, boy they are fun, not! Toothache agony. Kept kids off until I get more treatment for lice, have checked them both this morning and not a sign of one but just incase. Saying that the kids they have caught them off have gone to school, the mother said she had no treatment for them yesterday, just goes to show doesn't it! Sports day been postponed until Friday because of weather.
Well I'll get ready in a mo and go over the chemists, I need something for my finger too as I dragged a spelk out of it this morning which was very deep, thought had got it all yesterday but woke up with a swollen finger that was full of green gooey yak and found it had gone under the nail (sorry if anyone was eating when they read that :rotfl: )
Will start on kitchen when I get back
One day I might be more organised...........

I comb mine until I can't find any more and that just has to be good enough! Aside from that.. they have them back within 10 minutes of being back in class I am sure of it! Hope you feel better soon.. .. Oh.. just found louse eggs on the baby.. best check everyone again later!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

morning all

Still not flying due to parental visit - but thought i'd pop by to say hello anyway.
HopeElizzy - hope this week is better than last, it's tough when it all happens at once. Take care of yourself, don't worry about having a cry when you need it.
Broomstick - well done on the 10k - you make me feel guilty, I should have ran 5k a couple of weeks ago but had to pull out cos I had a virus...
Sending get well wishes to everyone young and old who has a case of the poorlies right now...

Oh, just remembered I did a bit of declutter yesterday - I went through my trouser shelf - and threw out 18 pairs!!!
Am planning on doing the same with all my cupboards - one at a time. By Christmas I only want to own things that I am actually going to use or wear!!
Ps. By threw out, I mean ebay/charity shops

Morning all, this thread always makes me cry and laugh in one read. Hugs to those of your being tested by life today.
Have made a start and done my 30 minutes outside - I find this very theraputic and it helps keep the garden in shape.

My quote of the day
"Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It's not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it's when you've had everything to do, and you've done it."Margaret Thatcher

They aren't yelling at me yet and this next bill should be less than the £677 it was last time!! The heating has been on less.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pigpen I hear what you're saying but she hasn't even ombed them through, she said she didn't have a comb for them. These boys have been riddled with them for weeks, I've been checking mine more than the usual once a day after I was told, it's the kids I feel sorry for if they constantly have them, must be so uncomfortable. With the gas/elec let them yell, good thing is they don't charge interest.
My two now treated even though I didn't find any more today, just incase, will be back to school this afternoon. One day I might be more organised...........
