As for property prices, they would of course continue to increase, because house prices never go down, you can't lose on bricks and mortar, renting is dead money etc etc probably“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

It's all true, folks - America's wealthiest ethnic group, thanks to not spending.

For Example.... take the Public Sector....
In either Scenario, who would take responsibility for all the Public Sector Pensions??? Could you imagine it...... If there was a United Ireland or Independent Scotland, they will have to pay for all the pensions of Teachers, retired police officers, retired politicians, and every other Public sector worker. In the case of Ireland, it would bankrupt the place again I recon considering the size of the public sector here... or would they just want to "Pick and Choose" what they take and don't take.....
Will be interesting to see how the Scotland Vote goes but if it were a "Yes", will it then put the spotlight back on a referendum here in Northern Ireland ???? Could be a very interesting end to this year....
I would assume they would make the UK liable for existing pension deals and role out their own pensions for anyone not at retirement age.0 -
Pensions would continue to be paid since it doesn't matter where you live.
I'd say your pension would be the least of your worries if you're under retirement age. An income would be more of a requirement.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

Existing pensions would continue to be paid. We're always hearing about English retirees in Spain.
As for rolling out pensions - good luck with that. We' ll be too busy scraping a living together to worry about pension. You probably won't need it for as long since people tend not to last as long on average without sophisticated health care.

Be positive. Quango Land will disappear overnight and all the unemployed procurement assessment experts and advisers on what you already know, or on the criteria necessary to achieve funding in quango land will emigrate along with all the other unemployed. Then there are the many layers of government, assembly and council staff that will need to be pruned. May be just what the place needs?

It would involve a mighty pruning.
Even less likely after last night's TV debate, it seems.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

The No campaign has been exceedingly negative and patronising and as a result it is now too close to call.
Latest poll is only a YouGov poll so not very significant, but generally momentum has recently been with the Yes campaign.
