I've not been around for a while due to work related stress, its been hard for me to concentrate on money savingSome of you may remember I'd been having a lot of problems with work. More recently my boss made a giant leap from being bad to unbearable. I've been off for 3 weeks now and have a sicknote for 3 months for stress and anxiety. I won't be going back there though.
I've decided to make the effort to get back glitchy shopping again as my MIL will be helping us out whilst I'm out of work so I want to help her by doing her shoppingAlso because I need to start saving cash again and to take my mind off my worries
Glad to see that the Asda creamy ice cream is still giving a good return. There were a few unseen by MSM items in the 2 for £3 multibuy there which made it an even better bargain. I noticed they are on MSM now though but I'll have a look instore for others, I'm sure there will be something newI'm quite excited about coming back now
I ve been in a similar situation. I could n t leave as mortgage needs paying.
I m taking anti depressants and have counselling. Moneysaving has helped as now nearly able to look for something else. Then I can tell my boss where to stick it.
Luckily the others I work with are very supportive. My boss is a male chauvinist ebeenezzer Scrooge.grocery challenge 9.86/600 -

You raised a good point about the deli counter.
Cheeses are frequently cheaper at the counter rather than pre packed.
Super big fan of Wensleydale with cranberries.
Corned beef, pork pies, ham etc. are sometimes cheaper than the pre-packed stuff too.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

This should be an 'unseen' item at the moment:
Ribena Blackcurrant Ice Lollies (3x75ml)
[Strike]£1.99[/Strike] 99p at
44p/100ml
Add to basket
Price Comparison
O [Strike]£1.99[/Strike] 99p
W £1.99
T £1.99
S £2.00
A N/A
M N/A
(This doesn't actually appear as shown above on msm, I've fiddled it a bit - as I have T OOS signed out and W OOS signed in, so I've reordered the prices into price order and combined the info. from out and in to jiggle it about a bit.)
And... M, £1 of course:rotfl::rotfl:. Not that that has any relevance here.
