Ours is choosing dinner, the little ones especially love it as they can help themselves to the things THEY want!! |Tends to be more along the lines of salad leftovers, pork pies, grated cheese, new potatoes, hard boiled eggs etc.essex girl in exile0 -
BBC News are short - they have a presenter from BBC World presenting this afternoon (4-8pm). I don't think I've seen him before, but here I'm no guide at all - he normally presents Newshour on the world channel we're told.
Now though - Reeta Chakrabarti, again.:rotfl:0 -

I remember you
Worry not about others. They'll only be bothered by you if they've got something to hide

Hey ho… I think they would be the people who may need you doing your job (more than people who value the role)
A police commander once said to me that my job was the most hated in the world!!:D:D

Hi, good to hear from you.
You do realise that the cheese you were looking at works out at £7 per kilo?!
:eek::o:eek:
Don't think it does - it's 2 packs, so therefore 700 grams of cheese for £3.50. I believe that makes it £5 a kilo (although not always the best at maths!). For a "muggle" purchase not involving glitches/apg's/pp etc I thought that was pretty good, although I must confess I only ever buy packaged cheese (for some reason I never think to look at the deli) so if there is cheaper please let me know!0 -
We got home to find we'd missed a phone all from the mortgage broker.
Credit check has passed our application to the underwriter so it's not looking good.
Oh well, onwards and upwards, maybe I could make DH sleep in the shed
Try not to worry yet. The mortgage broker should argue your case.grocery challenge 9.86/600 -

think i will get some more tomorrow when hubby's home with the 2 vouchers he's got
i had the same problem yesterday with a trout saying we couldn't have chicken goujons even though they are in the meat aisle!! we managed to get a couple of packs today as there was a young man on the ss checkouts :T
I was putting through one of my shops for breaded chicken and goujons earlier when the SA said that she could not put these through as the coupon was only off frozen items. She then asked the SA next to her who also shrugged his shoulders and said he did not know if breaded chicken was included.
When the supervisor came over she had a look of amazement on her face and said all meat, fish and poultry except frozen items
Maybe I should just have gone back and grabbed some frozen items lol0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »I thought they use an outside agency? That collect the prices on their behalf. Which, given that msm is the largest such agency (if what I read on here ages ago was correct), might be msm. The data for the APG for M comes from instore price collections - which is not the same as the data collected from online for msm.co.uk/msl.
Never say "never". I'll let you in on a bit of a secret folks - I do use msm to fill in some gaps on my list, so, yes, okay, I'm cheating - only a little bit;) - but I use msm with care, based on my knowledge and don't always trust what it says. It's hard (for me) to describe the process I use to accept or to reject msm information - it's not a technical rule-following but more of an 'in the round' decision-making process(:rotfl:), as I suspect most people do all the time. "Common sense" may be another term for it I suppose.i just knew a's didn't use msm for m's
