I've started working my way through Spooks, it seems really dated after watching 24

I enjoyed the 24 series - but reckon Spooks had the edge s it ws nearer to home ie this country. Mind you, the scene in the first series where one of the girls got her head shoved in a deep fat fryer put me right off scampi and chips for months !

They were never afraid of killing off their main characters.

I was putting through one of my shops for breaded chicken and goujons earlier when the SA said that she could not put these through as the coupon was only off frozen items. She then asked the SA next to her who also shrugged his shoulders and said he did not know if breaded chicken was included.

When the supervisor came over she had a look of amazement on her face and said all meat, fish and poultry except frozen items

Maybe I should just have gone back and grabbed some frozen items lol
you'd think they'd know what they were doing by now with the same offer being on a couple of weeks ago :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello
Never feel silly asking, ive asked some corkers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: even bought lion instead of loins:rotfl:
Hope your ok and recovering ok now?

    Hope your lions tasted good!

Still the same, lots of bladder pain. Not back at work yet, been off since April. Had to see force dr who agreed I'm not fit, she has written to my consultant to try and get a future prognosis so they can advise me accordingly. Worrying times. I am very lucky to have such a generous sick policy at work, but the whole thing is driving me crazy and I just want to be better. :o

Don't think it does - it's 2 packs, so therefore 700 grams of cheese for £3.50. I believe that makes it £5 a kilo (although not always the best at maths!). For a "muggle" purchase not involving glitches/apg's/pp etc I thought that was pretty good, although I must confess I only ever buy packaged cheese (for some reason I never think to look at the deli) so if there is cheaper please let me know!

Ah ok; so they're 350g packs rather than 250g.

    You originally said 250g:
I was in Morrisons this morning and they had their own brand 250g cheese (I saw mild/mature/extra mature/reduced fat cheddar as well as red leicester) £2.18 each or 2 for £3.50. I thought that was pretty good. Go through tons of cheese in this house, I'm addicted to it! :D

    £5/kilo is a good benchmark.

Yes please:D. I left something in the oven the other week (fortunately I've taken it out by now:rotfl:) and it was burned - I think we've all done it.

I've just claimed an APG and the time and transaction number have reverted to midnight and 0 on the voucher. Clearly some problems on the site with others of us having difficulties. I think it is now jinxed, having been oh so promising earlier today.

I have just re entered mine and its fine. I thought it was locked but i live and learn with the help of aau ( and everyone else) No apg just checking the prices

Hey ho… I think they would be the people who may need you doing your job (more than people who value the role)

A police commander once said to me that my job was the most hated in the world!!

    :D:D:D

    What do you do?

Hi ladyshopper I remember you from pts, your original post said a 250g pack which would be 7.00 a kg , so depends on the pack size who's right.:)
