I have a question to ask if I may...
Some of you may remember that a the beginning of the week we were completing on a new BTL flat....
Yay we now have it but I'm a little perplexed with all things key meter on the electric.......Never used one before so a total novice...

May I ask those on the elite who have used key meters...
How do you fill up the key ....I assume I need to take it somewhere possibly a pay point retailer.....thats fine theres one of those near....but how do I PAY FOR IT ....is it something that is only cash or possibly debit card or can I top up using my credit card???

Work starts tomorrow so plenty of painting etc....but at the moment we dont have any electric...the new supplier has sent me a key so thats all sorted.

Thanks in advance if anyone can reply!!!

:T Well done on the purchase

With regards to the key - the best bet would be to take it and see what the shop says. I had one for my last flat and co-op would let me pay by CC (usually bought it with something else though) but the local shop wouldn't. Also there are different types of keys so they may not take it at all

Anyone with O2 priority moments who has a "fragrance shop" near them. There is £35 off Diane von furstenburg 50ml perfume at the mo, priced at £46.50 so £11.50 afterwards.
    Excellent price.

I used to work in Martins and the payment was treated like any other payment, any valid method of payment was accepted.

    On the link it says

Leading fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg has created a fragrance as iconic as her wrap dress: Diane.

Her fragrance represents femininity, power and sensuality...Be the woman you want to be!.

The scent is a woody and floral, with key notes of violet and frangipani which contrast each other, on a glamorous bed of patchouli, myrrh and musk.

    Don't know if that's any help ;)

With it being a BTL flat, are your target tenants likely to be those that will need a key card type meter or will be okay/better with a normal meter? I understand options for tariffs are more limited with prepayment and also get charged a higher rate. Changing meter could only be done by the owner I believe?

Depending on the market, I am not sure whether this type of meter would make it more of less attractive to tenants?

    Just a thought.
