I'm going to bed. I have a dilemma :( I took on work for the charity place that OH goes to to see me over the holidays. Good for me, I get to earn money when I otherwise wouldn't, good for them.....they get work done?
Trouble is I have apparently done such a good job They want me to take on more hours :o:o My dilemma is, in real life I can earn about 8 times what they are paying me if I do real life work :o
Ive enjoyed the work and helping them out. I feel terrible :(
I have emailed tonight offering a 'number of hours' free of charge. I need to do real life work to earn money :( oh it has made me feel bad

Thanks fairclaire. I will just leave them as they are then. I just did this as an experiment and wasn't sure if it would keep growing?
I have a bit of turmeric root sprouting too. Have you ever grown that?

I'm lucky I have a sunny window sill. I've grown some really nice salad, rocket etc this year. :j

No, I haven't grown turmeric but will look forward to your updates on yours :D

I know! they have just changed from being a charity to being a 'not for profit community organisation' they do such good work. I will confess to not having disclosed my credentials to the MD.....on the request of my OH who has benefitted a lot from this organisation. He feels belittled by what I do :(

I think what you have done is very fair. You have done what you can and been appreciated, they will find someone else. :A

I was in a similar situation when I ran a group, I felt really bad when I felt it was my time to go but it would have affected family life so I gave notice with no one in place to take over. But things worked out in the end. ;)
