Thankyou. :beer:Mrs_stinkface wrote: »I have a new obsession- I've been making a coleslaw from my morries veggies, I can't get enough of it
I sprinkled cheese over it tonight and I reckon I've eaten about a 1lb of it since. I better start buying low fat mayo:rotfl:
I love homemade coleslaw too. I make mine with a dairy free, egg free mayo made by Plamil. It's lovely and creamy but probably still high in fat/oil lol.
I also sometimes use celeriac instead of or aswell as cabbage.lesliejack wrote: »I expect this is common knowledge, but just in case, did you know you can use your APG to pay for photos etc in Asda photoshop?
DD printed over 300 today, and APG accepted with no problems.:j:j
I didn't know that. Brilliant, thanks for sharing, :jI have been thinking a bit about Robin Williams today as it was such a shock to see this on the news with the loss of such talent. His poor family and friends. Hopefully he is in a better place with the biggest gig ever :A.
Poignantly, one of the movie clips they were running on a Sky News had Robin Williams playing a Father/Hero as a quest on a chat show. I paraphrase as it was not a film I was familiar with, but his advice to camera (in the film) was if you are severely depressed, please seek help. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
I cannot appreciate how desperate/depressed someone would have to be to go this far or indeed to suffer from this illness, as I count myself very fortunate not to have had this terrible illness. But I have had family members and friends who have suffered from severe depression who appear to have everything going for them yet are still afflicted. It can affect anyone.
It is sound advice above - if affected, seek help, there are people and organisations out there who can offer advice and guidance.
Take care

I completely agree. I've never suffered with depression but it breaks my heart to see and hear of those that do. Hugs to anyone who is struggling x
Good luck with your kidney op & future transplant Izzy. Reading things like this put my minor grumbles into perspective xxx"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

Will be interesting to see if it is still as sleek when I wake up in the morning
And we'll see what the sea air at Dawlish Warren does to it tomorrow :rotfl:
Possibly best to try it out under normal conditions Mildred? Not when you are moving around more than normal :rotfl:
I hope you are having a lovely time0 -

I went to watch Braveheart at the cinema with a good but quite frankly dim friendwe enjoyed it. I suggested a couple of months later that we and watch the film that had come out about Robert the Bruce
Her reply was. ' No I don't think I'd like to see that after what Robert the Bruce did to Mel Gibson in Braveheart. He obviously wasn't nice if he could do that':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I love a good historical film. I had a dire history teacher at school so sometimes I actually learn something when I watch one.0 -
