Had a family outing to Morries this afternoon. We each had a basket and a coupon, including DD who is 4  She was very pleased with herself picking her own fruit and then putting it through the SS tills and paying with a coupon like mummy :D

I had an attempted trouting though  After OH and DD had put their shops through I went to do mine. When the SA came to put the coupon through she insisted on reading the T&C's and said it was only one per customer and that my daughter and husband had already used them :rotfl:
I very politely pointed out that we weren't all the one person we were 3 separate people and were using one each. She didn't really have a response to that. Think she was more annoyed as my shop came to exactly £5 and it just spat my receipt out :rotfl:

I just love it when they come out with the one per customer excuse :rotfl:

When the free hand cream offer was on - you took into store an old one and got it exchanged for a new one, I put two empty tubes on the counter - assistant was very sniffy and came out with the one per customer only excuse.
My reply was this gentlemen next to me is my husband and he is also a person. She said oh I didn't see him

It is absolutely wonderful. We went to Bangkok, Phuket then Hong Kong. The only problem is it spoilt me for fresh fruit. Imagine this, lying on a desert island (got there by speedboat) that you can walk round in 10 minutes, selection of local fruit brought round by waiters. Pineapple that tastes absolutely nothing like pineapple in this country, lychees that still have the white outer skin on, all sorts of extremely fresh fruit. I have never touched a pineapple in this country since that, it simply is not the same :o

I agree. Nothing like picking mangoes off a tree that are warm from the sun and eating them in the sea cos they are soooo juicy that the juice runs up your arms when you bite into them.
You notice I said 'them' as one is never enough:rotfl:

That is ridiculous, I remember seeing the advert and thinking that they had children sussed!

Take prozac before, during and after!!

Seriously you need to figure out if you are happy for them to share a bedroom and other household rules

    and then take prozac…

    :o:o:o:o:o:o:o

I found things far easier with the boys...again its that old adage its ok for boys (no its not, the girl is someone's daughter)...
but times have changed and I usually let my boys know the ground rules way in advance.
I also stay out of the way as much as possible, must be scary to go to a strange house with strange parents (very strange in my house) so try to put myself in their position......I find it must be quite serious for son to bring her home....I'm sure you will be fine .

If its rash on tummy and hands normally. He will be perfectly fine with anti biotics. We were very unlucky. Got told by minor ailments clinic was fine would pass/ believe me I took all these people to task when we got her home.

I am now very vocal if anyone mentions Scarlet fever. Sorry hun xxx
