I agree. Nothing like picking mangoes off a tree that are warm from the sun and eating them in the sea cos they are soooo juicy that the juice runs up your arms when you bite into them.
You notice I said 'them' as one is never enough:rotfl:

I want to go back. You just brought back more memories, sitting in the sea surrounded by tropical fish with mango juice pouring into the sea. All the so called tropical fruit here is so tasteless compared with that.

On that note I'm off, going to sulk about not being able to get pineapples that actually taste like pineapples should in this country.

Argh, def booking him in the dr's tomorrow. I might get them to check me as well. I can't afford to get kidney infections. I have them enough as it is.

Glad I posted it now. I was concerned cos I had it as a child and ended up with pneumonia, pleurisy and a throat abscess.

maybe something a bit different - Sweet Chilli Jam
    http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/8257/sweet-chilli-jam
I just love the cooking description - "It should now look like thick, bubbling lava":rotfl:

don't forget to add some Worcestershire sauce (or Hendersons Relish if you;re veggie) and some vodka - a good glug of each, or about 3-4 tablespoonsful ... really makes a difference. And thyme is a great herb to add when you're roasting the veg (a mix of roasted peppers and roasted tomatoes is lovely, too).

thanks not much of a chilli person but may make some for gift baskets for christmas,
is worcestershire sauce not vegatarian  as i never knew.. i grow a lot of herbs and love using thyme :)

I hope this is not old news. A neighbour who enjoys whoopsies told me on thursday that the multibuy glitch at waitrose is no longer working as he got caught out on something. I didn't post this until I could confirm it myself. Today tried 2 packets of satsumas reduced to 49p but 2 for £3 and sure enough it come to 98p. I just did not want to hand over my cash. Oh well it was excellent for me whilst it lasted and I suppose wrose are finding it particularly difficulty with aldi stepping in their place in the tables.
I have got over the fact that it was not worth me going to morries for the f and v. Last night I spent £8 and in tesco and got £10 as a result of 3 overcharges. This is the second time this week I have walked out of tesco with a profit because of overcharging. The same sa was very apologetic at customer services but I said we all make mistakes and not to worry(lol)!

Anon - waitrose give change on paper vouchers from HSV. I must order some myself.
