    Evening all

Just trying to catch up as having busy time off doing the garden. Missed out on the veg last time so may have to pop down for a paper(s) in the morning

See a few of you are having some trouble (car, neighbours, etc.), really sorry and hope you can find some way through things.

    Ah that's amazing.
I used to love getting those at Christmas as well, it's been a while now though. Sure I've got some tucked away somewhere though, will need to have a look now!

We found a box full of random books mainly from the 60s/70s and loads of Spillane books. My brother wants to take them to the tip tomorrow but I'd rather donate them.

I do love them :D Even though these days, the stories are just repeats of years gone by. They have stood the test of time though!
I love Daphne Broon :rotfl::rotfl: if she was around today she'd be the Broon most normal women could identify with :rotfl::rotfl:

......sorry to anyone who hasn't a clue what we're on about :o

Absolutely!! Donate them.....books never die. There will always be someone that wants them, hasn't read them, collects them. Those are fab :D

    On the subject of fruit........
I am going to have an absolutely bumper crop of passion fruit. What on earth can I (well OH :D ) do with it?? We're not really hugely sweet toothed. The kids won't eat it, I dint think. And can you freeze it?? I only grew it because I adore the flowers but it would be such a shame not to use the fruit for something.

Are you absolutely sure you have 'edible' passion fruit? I grew passion flowers in my garden for years and always had a good 'crop' of bright orange egg shaped fruits. They were however ornamental fruit and certainly not for eating. Like you I grew the plant for the gorgeous flowers. Please don't make yourselves ill by eating something you shouldn't!
