the AA took my car there as i told them too after when hubby's car died they took it to our local garage & they didn't want to touch it  yes fingers crossed for answers tomorrow ;)

noooooooo!!! you can't sit it out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Did the garage you took the car to have access to a courtesy car? They are supposed to repair it in a 'reasonable' time. I know 'reasonable' is a piece of string term......
Am I right in thinking they took several days to even look at it and diagnose the problem? I honestly think you need to get tough with them Cheery. Ask if they have a courtesy car you can use, tell them firmly that you think they have had your car long enough to diagnose the problem and at least be well on the way to sorting it and that it is now costing you a substantial amount.
Don't take this the wrong way (I'm trying to help) but if they know you will 'wait' they won't be in such a hurry to get you sorted. I know not everyone finds it easy being tough......but they are taking the Pee!!
Maybe a call to Citizens Advice helpline will help? They'll better advise what's reasonable regarding timescales. Good Luck

Nice list - which items were for cashback?

    Was this an instore shop?

    Were there any invisible items?

Instore, triggers were double protect deo and carex bubblegum (i didn't think this would work as now showing on MSM). £1.60 Clicksnap for crisps and 10p TCB for eggs (every little helps)

Thanks all for your kinds words and hugs. Much appreciated.

CALMSPIRIT I hope you manage to sort out the issues or try and work out a compromise. However, knowing what some people are like, you probably won't get anywhere. But sending you loads of warm thoughts and what not.

On that note, I am going to try and get some sleep. Probably won't get far but have had a very busy day at work and my head in banging. Wish me luck all.

    Speak soon.

That's exactly what happened to me with the Dr O pizza today!! :o :rotfl::rotfl:

    On the subject of fruit........
I am going to have an absolutely bumper crop of passion fruit. What on earth can I (well OH :D ) do with it?? We're not really hugely sweet toothed. The kids won't eat it, I dint think. And can you freeze it?? I only grew it because I adore the flowers but it would be such a shame not to use the fruit for something.

How about smoothes with morries fruit a well

He wishes  he absolutely loves lobster, and any shellfish really. YUK! I ate prawns tonight because he was saying he hadn't had them in ages. I'm not keen but they were edible smothered in that sauce you make with mayo and ketchup mixed together :o :rotfl:

Just remembered that I have a !!!!!! mailing MOC for newspapers - seem to think its 'use 4 times' - so very useful if the sun rumours are true.
No idea how I could have forgotten it as I only got the one miserable set of mailing mocs and not even useful ones

So a good excuse to take my cc card to !!!!!! to see if I can get a till spit - beginning to think it also has a black curse on it like my nectar card has
