CALMSPIRIT you have my deepest sympathy. My neighbours are absolute c u next tuesdays so I can kind of relate you in some ways. I've ended up on sleeping tablets to get myself to sleep. It's a family of 4 fully grown adults who slam every door under the sun continuously from 6am until 2am the next morning. Don't even get me started on the hoovering of bedrooms at 2am. Anyone would think their goal in life was to make our life hell!!!
The Police won't get involved. Having said that, one of the c u next tuesdys has been in and out of prison for much bigger crimes so I guess harrassing neighbours is not classed as a crime to the Police!
We can't sell the house as no one on this earth would want to live next door to them. And I fully understand what you mean about your home being your sanctuary. I come home from work hoping to relax and chill out, but I just get even more harrassment from the c u next tuesdays next door. Errr!
Have you tried keeping a log of the harrassment / issues? That's what the Council would ask you to do. Mind you, going down the legal process is quite scary because if the neighbours have friends in your area, they could make your life hell.
Hopefully you will be able to sort it out someway or another.
On a side note, does anyone know how I can go about popping my right ear? I've had flu and I can't hear a thing from it. I've tried chewing gum / sucking on sweets / closing my nose and breathing out but I'm practically deaf (the only good thing is I can only partly hear the t w a t s from next door hammering the doors!). HELP!
Calmspirit and Mimi, how awful for you both, hope you get it all sorted.
Mimi, I had to have my ears syringed yesterday, as I have been deaf for over a week, was horrible, but I can hear normal again now.0 -

had a call from the garage today to update me that they are waiting for an email from vw technical before they give me figures on how much my car will be to repairtotally fed up as this is dragging on too much
Their customer service is the worst ever. Was it the AA or RAC that took the car there? I would be tempted to complain as they have you trapped. Hope it gets resolved soon, and hopefully tomorrow will be a great day xxx:D:D:D:D
