CS - police could provide a covert camera.

I have these at the front and back of the house, and alarms in every room, they are horrid things I would not recommend it as they have no consideration for living environment when they are installing them

Probably same as many As. Van and driver switch over every two hours. Whilst one is at the C&C point the other will be stocking up for the next two hours customers....etc

My local T's is starting to do c&c, although I'm not sure they've thought it out properly.
No buzzer or anything to let them know your there and at the far end of the car park.

One of the As here has C&C like that. Same thing, in a corner of the car park far away from the store. They have a big storage unit thing that the shops ready to pick up are kept and at ours there's a member of staff waiting in a home delivery wagon for people to pick up their shopping. Looks like the same sort of set up

    Xmas Saver!
I don't think it would be very economical to leave a van there all day though.

Not as daft as it seems. They could probably lease a cooled van for £700 per month, (guessed at that figure, could be less for Tesco) and then fuel on top to keep it cool and a member of staff. more importantly, they dont need any additional planning so can just get on with it. If they had to put up a building, get power to it, fit it out with fridges/freezers etc the bill would run into many thousands, and also could be expensive and heavily delayed to get through planning. Then add in some security etc.. So whilst it seems silly, it probably is more cost effective.

Yes, I concur! That Minion Batman cake would have blown them away :D

Thanks :o Saying that I made a right messy cake earlier. I stupidly decided to carve an apple and cinnamon cake (not very stable for such a task) and the back kind of sunk. So I stuffed it full of buttercream and place a cape over it.
