A lot of nonsense as usual. I just received my A50s from India. All I can say is it is a fantastic deal! Cost £50.50 delivered (within 3 days can you believe). What a cracking piece of kit. Takes 2 sim cards but one has to be a micro sim. I ordered one micro sim from my povider and it is on the way for free.
Bought it from Ebay around £42 plus £8.50 postage. Put my existing sim in the full size sim slot and it worked perfectly. Now I get email and the internet through my wireless system. Put a 32gb mini card from my old phone. If you take advice from those above that have not looked at one, so be it. If not this is a fabulous phone for the price.
The instruction manual is really crappy but you just have to figure it out.
Don't have to look at it....ITS NOT 3G meaning slow Wap internet
Its like going back in time so not a good deal.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -

Just because you don't know any better doesn't make it good, I'm afraid.
If you took a 70's Skoda down to that newly discovered tribe they would think it was a miracle. We know better.0 -

Well said, I suppose even an old Lada would look fantastic to someone only used to a horse and cart.====0 -
I use TalkTalk as my wireless provider. But I must say we are in the presence of true genius. A mind reader and total expert on something you have never used or seen. Does everyone who disagrees with your inate and profound knowledge fall into the same category as I seem to have done.
To all those not so gifted as the oracle d123, I do believe you will be surprised by the A50s.0 -

The fact it is not 3g rules out using a 3 sim for instance and you will not get any coverage in area's where there is only 3g and 4g masts. As more and more 2g masts get turned off it will be a problem that just gets worse.
It's only got 256 MB of RAM which is barely enough to run Jellybean let alone anything else.It's not just about the money0 -
I don't think you need to be gifted to realise that a 2g phone is not much use these days other than to make calls and send texts.

It just so happens a colleague of mine did buy one of these (as a cheap present ). Looking at it, its very cheaply made. As expected using it reveals that it is hopelessly underpowered with significant lag and grinding slowness giving a poor user experience. There isn't enough memory to update the pre-installed apps. Many popular apps will not work with such low memory. If they had put the low memory version of KitKat on then it might have been useable.
As a first phone for a child or an emergency phone or a going out phone then it would be adequate. I certainly wouldn't describe it as cracking. There are much better handsets out there at that price. You can even get the original MotoG for a tenner more. Or one of last years Samsung basic phones for a little less.0 -

You don't seem to be able to comprehend that the specification tells you all that's needed, and it sucks.
You also don't need to be an oracle to realise it's a piece of !!!! and only an idiot or shill would be trying to make out it was worthwhile buying when compared to any other smartphone on the UK market.
At a cost of £50 it's about £40 overpriced...====0 -
If the poster is a 'shill' it has badly backfired!0
