Google Keyboard is currently using 98MB RAM on my phone right now, and Facebook 89MB.

The A50S is not realistically usable as a smartphone.

What a shame. I thought someone was actually talking from experience.

Do you really think people who either work or worked in the mobile industry, or have extensive experience of phones really need to physically see it to know it's a turd?

256MB RAM is enough to know what a useless device this would be...

Brits interested in giving the handset a try can order for a Karbonn A50S by first registering with an Indian courier firm using a local postal address either of their friends or relatives living in India. They can then buy the smartphone online and get it delivered to the address in India and forward it finally to their UK address.
While getting the Karbonn handset delivered in the UK will cost around £20, there is no need to pay for any import duty as for the handset being extremely cheap.

Rather just buy a Moto E if you want a budget phone, it's a far better phone.

Those functions would be make a call, receive a call, send a text, receive a text, and it has an alarm.

Past that it doesn't really have the hardware to do much more...

A lot of nonsense as usual. I just received my A50s from India. All I can say is it is a fantastic deal! Cost £50.50 delivered (within 3 days can you believe). What a cracking piece of kit. Takes 2 sim cards but one has to be a micro sim. I ordered one micro sim from my povider and it is on the way for free.

Bought it from Ebay around £42 plus £8.50 postage. Put my existing sim in the full size sim slot and it worked perfectly. Now I get email and the internet through my wireless system. Put a 32gb mini card from my old phone. If you take advice from those above that have not looked at one, so be it. If not this is a fabulous phone for the price.

The instruction manual is really crappy but you just have to figure it out.

Why does this post make me go hmmm?

Gets me thinking about someone called Shill...

So, what kind of "wireless system" does this pinnacle of modern telecommunication achievement connect to?

It's over 4 years since barose's last post.

I doubt they've been lurking that long specifically to shill a cheap crappy phone that might get launched that long into the future :)
