The house listed now has a smaller extension and when they don't show picture of kitchen and bathroom it normally means they arer not very good.

according to LR and ONS prices in stratford are rising 40something% a year so it should have sold at the original asking price of £420k, no?

Why it's up for £700 less than house that completed in June and from what I can see it is not as nice.

June, July, August, September, October. . . Where have you lived for the last five months?
  • the bomad bidding war that produced the last sale would have taken place around march/april. from then till now is around half a year. according to your LR holy grail this house should much more expensive than it currently is.
    same for kingsley:

I think it might have been explained but you don't know if the last sale on Vernon Road was the land reg average and you don't know if the current sale represents the land reg average so you can't make this assumption.

I might adopt your valuation method next time I buy - seems like a wonderful way to protect against reality.

Have you mentioned what peaked in [STRIKE]April[/STRIKE]/ May yet?

You seem a little stressed at the moment padington. Tough time at work or is something else ruffling your feathers?

Nine days working straight because work needed me and two hours sleep because of a particularly beautiful woman caused sleep to be a challenge.

Then came home after a few free glasses of wine from a cracking art show and just couldn't bite my tongue any longer to those that have made this board such a boring read because of their complete lack of reason and repetitive postings.

Sitting in a half a million house with a 60k mortgage and 20k in the bank, with no kids and an empty spare room, believe me, I'm not slightly the bit stressed financially. Just stressed by the Internet forum equivalent of Japanese water torture.
