The exercise i described in the last post, was both energising and calming.
This is my homework...
Alongside Step 3 - Assess - Is that useful? is it true? What's important? Decide
4. Solve - What is your goal - ensuring it is positive, realistic, big language and imaginative.
I have been struggling to complete all the tasks I need to do, to run a successful Christian Aid Fundraiser at Church. All tied up with fear and anxiety about my current life.
This has helped me a lot...
However I was rather cream crackered and so was OH, we succumbed to a takeaway which was lovely but really couldn't afford:(:(:(

Funny old day, a late start I was reading another Maisie Dobbs novel, really wanted to stay in bed, however friends came last minute for elevensies and a catch up.
I really wanted to get out the house, I mentioned a pint but it fell on deaf ears and I admit despite the lessons of Friday, my mood went completely to pot. I said the word "F@ck @ff" a lot:( ( I don't normally swear!)

Thank you dear friends, for your kind words, I am back up and running having had a sociable and relaxing weekend.
Friday, I was feeling far more myself, and spent the morning doing domestic chores and messaging OH who was at the political count for local elections.
I am very proud of him, he stood in our ward against the incumbent who has a huge blue majority! But he maintains that we live in a democratic country, so people need to have a choice about who to vote for so they can vote. He is chairman of the local party and worked hard to keep the one red councillor in Surrey and despite nail biting through hours they succeeded. I firmly believe we should have councils of mixed colours in order to hold the controlling party to account.
I think I have said before that I had a mother who drummed into me that she didn't care how I voted but as long as I did, as Women had died and my Grandfathers when they turned 18 didn't have the right to vote.
I will vote in June but not a clue for, as the party I worked and stood for in years gone by, is not the party I believe in now.
Meanwhile I had a lovely time with Mr Borrow my Doggy along the riverbank, and must admit bought lunch out as we had not got our act together re shopping and the fridge was bare.
OH got in and we decided a cheeky pub supper was called for... and I texted my BF just to see if they were around and they were:). So had an early supper with BF, Godson and family....

Following my wellbeing coaching session on Thursday I used the visualisation technique for energy and to positively think about the up coming day.
We were up, washed and dressed out of the house before 9am, off to the Big Smoke
My initial reward was a McD's breakfast but the drive through was closed:( being refurbished. However as a result we were parked and in our destination just as the cafe opened. so a cheeky croissant and coffee.
We were at Tate England to see the David Hockney exhibition - which was superb, OH is a member so we got in free. It was so vivid of colour revitalising.
Sadly it did result in me having rather a dizzy head as I was cranking my neck from my wheelchair to see. We had lunch in the members room, with a pot of tea rather than the glass of vino, I had been anticipating.
Going early meant we were all to go supermarket shopping on the way home and get a packet of Rich T3a and ingredients for supper.
Home to put our feet up for masterchef, ER and Casualty
OH cooked as was still feeling dicey
PS We were naughty and bought the book, not good MSE at allAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Alarm went off at 7.30am - this gave me time, a drink, body to sort itself out. However I did read instead of doing meditation and mindful movement!
Had a shower, put nice clothes on, hair make up and breakfast. It was a Paelo breakfast
Church - I was very sad at one of my "friends" reactions when I said I couldn't hear the "talk" which she did her reaction was "tough" and I also felt very awkward about how she has in the past spoken to another friend in a very off hand way. I tried to appease the situation. Need to rephrase a bit. "She has a generous heart but at times her social skills can be rather off-putting"
As we got home from church friends opposite were outside and we went in for a mug of tea and a catchup. Of all the people in our road, these are the ones I want to spend time with.
Lunch with friends - really glorious not talking about ourselves, the world in general art, doing things, current affairs. No having to take on the difficulties of others No emotional investment. Just good company.
However, was not paelo friendly with wine and a rum baba for pud!
Home to coffee and a non confrontational Bramleys meeting, which was not focused on money. More our social diary.
Apart from Labour work, OH did put the lights on Gumtree, would you be willing... changing language and its getting positive responses...
Then I relaxed in front of the TV with my crochet and decided to go to bed at a reasonable time to readAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
