  • Love Vera! I like seeing places I recognise. The building that was used as the newspaper offices in Sunday night's episode actually collapsed into the street in real life on Monday!! Glad they weren't filming then .

An easy day... spent the morning in bed, then coffee, hot cross buns, Vera and crocheting

I was suppose to go and sort something at church but I cancelled, #chronic fatigue brain fog and #chronic pain - would have had to negotiate the Squires Gallery stairs.

A few small domestic jobs including washing until I went out to the final tech rehearsal which was really hard going....

Another personal NSD but I am putting off sorting my finances :eek:

Another late start :j:j apart from serving breakfast at 6.30am :rotfl:

I completed my 750 words and this diary before my massage therapist arrived.

It was a painful session but I knew that as I have been doing a lot this week :(

OH was in port so we have been messaging most of the day :) and I had a lovely surprise with a bouquet of Spring flowers arriving from my fav florist. :heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpuls

I tackled the kitchen so it was tidy before I left for opening night...

GP appointment for a cervical smear, as usual rather painful as I spasmed in the midst, but it was short and sweet, and it is important to have it done.

My bloods are coming back with nothing to report except a deficiency with Vit D which GP says is normal, so she will refer me to the Chronic fatigue clinic....

Better night at Am Drams tonight, apart from my body which was on fire pain wise :eek::eek:

Home to cat cuddles, a cheeky beer and Line of Duty...

Confession, I have bought this cheeky cat wine bottle holder, wish I can work out how to post a picture. £3in the hospice shop... it made me giggle...

Just caught up with your diary, what a busy week you've had! At least your £3 spend has not only made you smile it has benefitted the hospice.

Another "at home day" very much needed as chronic fatigue and chronic pain are building quietly.

Thank goodness I am a bookworm - reading An Incomplete Revenge by Jacqueline Winspear - I am rather addicted to these books at the moment.

I spent a lot of the day at my lap top. Finished another 750 words a day and my diary on here. I managed to read one professional magazine. Washed a table cloth for that night. I need to summon the energy to washh some knickers ;)

I am listening to Home Front on Radio 4 - catching up

Made myself a cottage pie, with mince and potatoes from the freezer and I had veg!!!!

Second Night of Play. It is going very well... apart from the stage manager who I see is winding others up, especially the cast. His words before curtain up was "Don't get complacent - second night is where everyone relaxes and things go wrong." Then " he commented at the and that it went moderately well" I had overheard his son "The Director" that it was a "stinking" night. I feel so much for the actors when someone is so negative. This is amateur dramatics as i told the girls, as I ironed the tablecloth... a stage manger request... we do this for fun... they should enjoy it and that will bring a good performance!

I am though feeling lonely, missing OH, good job I have the cats who I can talk too. Although at 10am this morning was not impressed with Gaston all 7 kilos of him who kept yelling and jumping on me as he wanted second breakfast, first breakfast was served at 7.30am :rotfl::rotfl:. He is currently snoring in the sun.

    Morning, one and all

I am still here! RL seems to have been very busy, and I am just about keeping my head above water.

We have around 10 coming to supper tonight :eek: and we have failed to do an on line order :eek:

OH has just gone out the door to shop as my legs are like dead weights ( hooray for our local shops ) and a flexible working OH.

The cats are keeping me company. Bigboy is snoring... so comforting :rotfl::rotfl: little Miss Pickle was not popular at 5am when she launched herself from the top of the bed frame above our heads to in between us...

I was going back to my old uni for a service user event, but all in all body said no!

determined to keep up with my diary... so will do a few days combined....

Next step... Hang out washing / move cat food delivery

    Saturday

    Last night of production :j:j

Girls asked me for a late curry and didn't eat much, but the value of new friendships and company after a week without OH was worth the £17:eek:

    Otherwise a quiet day

    Sunday

Wash up morning, and after sorting the finances, I stayed and chattered - it was good to get to know people especially the chairmans wife... my age... but they are considering moving out of the area :(

We had run out of wet cat food and cat litter, rather cross with OH as this is his department. Buying online to save the carrying etc, so off to Pets at Home. got one cat food and no litter - favourite brand £1.50 more. Had just enough todo one change and then order more.

Went into the local charity furniture shop next door. Found a fantastically good TV corner stand. Bought for £40. :T. Has freed up the coffee table that we were really missing. Donation to the hospice. Young lad and I got it in the car just, along with 4 dining room chairs that had been on stage.

They all stayed there, till teenage Godson and Nephew arrived next day.

Home to collapse in front of the TV, continued to eat from Freezer....
