    Morning all :D

DD isn't feeling too good today but has still had a bath & baked a batch of biscuits before her dad arrived. She's out with him now and he's going to have her 2 days midweek as well which just happens to coincide with my delivery day so she won't be under my feet as the livingroom gets taken over with stock :j But she'll still be able to help me make deliveries the next day ;)

Todays plan, except for shopping lists and laundry is me taking my time to have a bath. For some reason I feel really icky atm so I'm hoping a soak/scrub/face pack etc will perk me up and energise me for whats going to be a busy week ;) Right, off to find a film to watch while I preen :D:p
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Fizz, sorry to hear about your hard drive. If it's any help, Amazon had available to download almost every CD I'd ever bought. including the presents for other people...
so this is either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the people you buy for :rotfl:

Hah, true dat! DH and I have broadly similar tastes but as I have also bought for my DD and my niece, there could be some real stinkers waiting in the wings :D

I'm going have have a rummage, I think I *might* have some of the older stuff backed up in DVDs somewhere…

I have been to Sainsbobs and it was heaving, not helped by the woman in front of me having forgotten eggs and asking the checkout guy, when he was finished putting all the rest of her stuff through, to get someone to pick some up for her. Cue a good five minutes of me huffing, puffing and getting v. cross.

Home now, cheeky glass of wine, spot of ironing and on to race two of the day :D

I've spent most of the day since my last post sorting photographs I've taken on my phone. Silly me keeps backing them up to my laptop but not taking them off the phone. I've had multiple copies of the same pics going back to at least Christmas 2012 although I'm sure I have older ones on there as well :o It took me 3 hours to work through one upper level folder. Doing the whole lot will take me days at this rate!

That is exactly the problem I have been having and trying to sort out only mine go back years and years. I use a programme called anti twin which is just brilliant. It searches for duplicates and then you go through the ones it finds and you delete them. I deleted over 1000 duplicates one of the days this week.

I've just gone into the programme to find the information about the makers - here is their website - it's free for private use. http://www.joerg-rosenthal.com/en/antitwin/

I don't use f@cebook but for those that do - they provide this link

I started late today but up until a couple of hours ago I was doing well. I think I made the mistake of stopping and just feel completely drained.

    Anyway today I have

    watered the herbs
    made the bed
striped and made one of the children's bed
put the picnic stuff back in the loft and brought suitcase down
vacuumed the living room on my hands and knees as it is the only way to get the dog hair up - I now know it takes at least 20 minutes rushing as fast as I can.
    set the table for dinner
vacuumed the hall and the porch on my hands and knees
    sorted the banking
    paid the council tax
put the milk bottles and payment out
done three loads of washing and put it all on the line
    did a face mask
    decluttered legs and bikini line
had a shower, washed and dried hair
    dried DD hair
cleaned my vase for the lovely flowers OH brought me
    washed the dog's bowls
I am sure there was something else but can't think what.

OH has vacuumed the kitchen and is currently making dinner

DD1 has made ginger wine ice cream and DD2 has made sorbet and they both made cookies and muffins yesterday for today's pudding.

So we have achieved something :-)

Ironing all done and away :)

Two dark loads of washing strewn around, had to inform DH that there were no underpants of DSS's in the wash, despite the fact he's been here since Wednesday _pale_ For once I was fervently hoping they were lying on the bedroom floor but, no! DSD is STILL in bed, lazy toad.

Dinner prepped, lounge vacuumed and dusted, kitchen S&Sed, coffee table polished. Rob Austin not performing all that well today, here's hoping for better things in race three :)

ETA: Rob was pish in race three too! :( At least DH's favourite Mat Jackson has delivered with a podium finish!

I am worn out. Spent most of the day on a shopping and sightseeing trip with DH (great) and then came home and have just spent a couple of hours in the garden which was quite heavy work. I've also changed our bedding today, but the old stuff is still in the machine. I'll sort it tomorrow.

So tired in fact, that DH has offered to make tea, how can I refuse?!!

    Have a great evening everyone.

I have spent most of the afternoon undercoating the garage and shed doors. This morning, the weather forecast for tomorrow was sunshine. This evening, it says we're going to have sunshine in the morning and evening but rain in the afternoon - and then it's going to rain every day for the rest of the week  I shall have to get my skates on and do the gloss in the morning, then rig up some plastic sheeting to protect my handiwork

Did WMx3 today, and will have to put our load of bedding in as soon as we get up tomorrow.

I have also removed the molehill - woe betide the little ****** if he dares to show his face here again. I might just resort to an electronic thing to send him running!

Been to town and bought the cards I need for August plus a sympathy card for the family. They have (look away now if you're easily shocked) 'special' christmas cards on sale

Have brought in washing and put new washing line up (other one snapped, thought DS had done it but he hadn't. He did, however, effect a very long lasting repair with string:T

Decluttered some bubble wrap and padded envelopes to Crazychick (some of you may remember her from the forum) through the local Facebook sell/gift page.

Need to iron my duvet cover and make my bed.

Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY
