fizzwhiz your pharmacy sounds just like mine. They spend most of their time chatting to each other or unpacking deliveries, which they can't stop to serve you. They obviously know all the older members of our village and natter to them, which is nice, but they are happy to make you wait until they have finished their catch up before serving you.

Yeay re Ginge coming home - fantastic news!:j:j:j

Blimey skinty! That was some going yesterday! Well done on all of that sorting and organising:T

Has been bucketing it down here on and off today = no washing (I have a wet load in the machine which will be ok until tomorrow)

DH and I have bought a new higher-level airbed for our camping trip next week - I suffer with our existing one - the smallest 2 boys can share that one as that stops one of them falling in between 2 single mattresses, which is usually the case! :rotfl::D
Also bought DS1 some more socks for his army cadet trip (£70 for 10 days - inc a day trip to France - bargain!!)

I took DS2, DS3 and DD to the library - DD was researching some stuff for her A levels and the smallies joined this year's reading challenge and got lots of books out :)

Other than that I've sorted my floordrobe (took waaaaayy longer than 15 mins...:o:o), DH did his and I've vacuumed the top floor and done *most* of the polishing up there and got rid of a bathroom-bin size amount of rubbish.

DS3 has trashed his room - again :( Almost a daily occurrence atm. DD has gone in and tidied up most of it for me, bless her :)

BAck later/ tomorrow - depending on how soon I crash out! :D

    xx

Mumto5... wonderful news!!! The relief all round must be amazing.. he's a lucky young man by the sounds of it!

Dot hasn't been too dreadful with the busy day.. just a few near miss meltdowns.. I am very good at spotting them and refocusing her.. She wanted to ride a bike much too big at the toy shop, she wanted to go to Tesco and B&Q.. and she had screaming banshee moments because we had stuff to take to the tip and she was asleep in the car so missed the event and was insistent we hadn't been lol.. In the end I said we forgot to go and would go in a few days.. thankfully we have more stuff to bin!!

Cake here.. I'll do pics later but it is fabulous.. Squeak loves it!

Recovery will take a long time, thank you to all of you who have sent good wishes, vibes and prayers. The power of the Flyladies is a remarkable thing.

I need to get flying fast now!!!!

Fabulous news, Mumto5 and I am so, so pleased for you all. Flying isn't the most important part of the healing process you know!

Frodders I am seething with envy! An audience of 100 on Warrior, oh the bliss of it! Have a lovely time this evening in Regent's Park. I hope the weather treats you kindly.

OH as fixed the loo seat and we have flown the loo and bath. Both now sparkly, so I feel like a proper Flylady, not having done a huge amount this week and not intending to do much before next Saturday, either. As I don't get an annual holiday, not doing much except reading for a couple of weeks and eating lovely food is my bargain MSE version of it. Luckily, I love the house, so it can feel pretty good taking time out.
    Better is good enough.

Mumto5 I'm pleased to hear about Ginge (although I think I must have missed the initial news)

    Valli welcome back!

We slept for a couple of hours this afternoon :o so I guess it will be a while before the kids are ready for bed. Had some heavy rain today so washing is indoors (emptied the whites now and just a small basket of darks left :T)

Party tomorrow then dropping littlies with granny until Tuesday, Shen she is staying at ours to look aft them on Wednesday as I'm back at work :( hey mr lottery, let me win the jackpot and some other deserving soul can have my job ;)

Lord knows what I've done with myself for the last 4 days :p

Might frame the kiddies into tidying some toys up...
