I seem to recall bigmummaf did bring the aliens along to a shin dig or two, I believe they were asked not to return after an unfortunate incident where Hubert became trapped in the Tardis broom cupboard, with one Gordon T Gopher ....

Just back from shop at L!dl, can't quite decide if it's saving me money shopping there now we have one locally (I'm not counting the trip over to HB as there was 15% off and I bought paint to respray the ironmongery on our front door rather than buy new, so that's :money:) I think it helps having a more limited range to choose from, so I do tend to buy less. Was watching the Despatches programme from Monday about the supermarkets and changes in consumer habit from one big shop a week to multiple smaller ones in different stores. Deff find myself doing that, which I also find makes me meal plan a big more too. Perhaps need to stop picking up those 'other essentials' when I go to the bigger stores for specific items , although to be fair, I tend to throw out very little gone off food so I can't be too bad
Will have to compare grocery spends over the past few months (ok,I just like a good spreadsheet)

Love the pic marmite, glad it's not that hot though, been shattered this weekend and think part of it is catching up on quality sleep after it's been so humid here at night. OH even woke up last night saying he was cold (so I gave him some of the duvet :rotfl:)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hi,
can I join and aim for 8 nsd in August. Done 1 already, but with teenage kids home, and exam results looming I'm not sure how we're going to cope over the next few weeks. Luckily eldest child has summer job so can fund himself now!
