NSD #8 - I have hit my target for August, which I thought highly unlikely
With a week til the end of the month, a trip to meet up with relatives in London, and getting ready for back to school I reckon that's it for this month.
And I don't know whether to be cross or happy with DS tonight. He went to meet friends at a Casino (they're only just old enough), decided to lay out a maximum of £10, and came home with a £40 profit. I just don't like gambling at all, and I don't want him to get a taste for it. But that's a day's wages for him.

Afternoon all, what a grotty Monday. Was down in Brighton for the weekend (sat / sun) with OH. went down to see a gig on sat night and had a lovely afternoon strolling around yesterday before heading home.
So, Sat was speedy as we had dinner, and a few drinks. I gave OH my share yesterday, and although we did have breakfast, I'm counting it all as one spend so declaring nsd #11
Bit concerned as came back on the m25 which was clear for once but did do about 80 on my speedo through what may or may not have been active speed cameraswas either through overtaking or keeping pace with the traffic so just hope to heaven I don't get a ticket.
Having a lovely lazy day and best of all I HAVE A WHOLE WEEK OFF :j first holiday since May. Go lots of house / garden stuff planned but really looking forward to it. Also meeting up with a very old friend tomorrow, haven't seen her for ages but we caught up on FB and have lots of common interests even after all these years. Can't wait.:D
lindor how about suggesting to DS that he save half of his winnings?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

:hello:hi all NSders xx
Well, back into day mode for a few
I didn't do so well on Saturday, I got up a bit late and had nothing I could take into work so grabbed something on the way in!! I had some money for shopping on Sunday morning so it did come out of that and I managed to do the shopping on Sunday morning. I managed to only spend from the shopping budget and also the money for petrol for a friend for giving me lifts so am quite pleased with myself. Went out for an afternoon with a bunch of people to a country park and managed not to spend anything there; I had prepared with sandwiches made from stuff I had got in the shopping that morning and a flask of hot water for coffeeso I'm quite proud of that.
I am counting them both as spendy days though as I don't want to give myself leeway to spend for September as with my head it would be too easy to trick myself into saying 'that was an allowed spend' and I really need to tighten up.
That said however, I left my car at my friends house last night as I was too tired to drive it home. I was going to get electric yesterday as I had the money left from the shopping but was far too tired after a night shift and a day out to walk to the shop so I am going to get it this morning. I will be counting this as an NSD though as it was planned for yesterday and the money is there from yesterday and I plan to do absolutely nothing else today except potter around at home
So...number 13
