Dunno Phil - my ex was a taxi driver, and you would be amazed what he got offered instead of the more conventional cash...............

I personally always thought that the women offering a BJ in exchange for a £5 fare were selling themselves a little cheaply.........

But, as he used to say, BJ's don't put dinner on the table, so I expect most of those getting 2 taxis a day work for a living (or if not, have it paid for by their social workers/the DWP).

    Lin ;)

I really can not believe women are so low to do that. Now that strengthens my view that they heavy party goers are not my sort if they are a low as to offer things like that.

Or maybe you've found your job? Taxi driver?
  • One of my friends at school, her dad was a taxi driver. They had an indoor swimming pool and sauna, so i guess there was some money in it

I prefer women who respect themselves and are careful and responsible. It does worry me if all this going out and getting legless is really the wisest thing to do.

  • it might not be the wisest thing, but it is fun getting legless

SP, you do sound like you are the most boring graduate in the whole world

You worry too much. There's a time for being sensible and a time for having fun

I remember seeing somewhere that for alot of people it would actually be cheaper for them to get taxis everywhere than to pay for the car they own.

    Typical car costs:
£810 before you've driven it anywhere or allowed for depreciation- from:
    http://www.moneymatterstome.co.uk/7-Personal-life-choices/Sub1/Activity-BuyingACar.htm

depreciation and interest payments could easily be another £500.
so you're talking £1310 before you've paid for a drop of petrol to go anywhere, that's £25 a week.

If you don't use your car to get to work, it's quite possibly cheaper to simply take two or three taxis a week.

He was previously the most tedious student in the world.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

It very true, often advise older people who don't need to drive to work to get rid of their cars, as it works out cheaper to taxi twice a week than maintain and run a car. Helps their money go further too. Sp, trust me you really need to go out clubbing with girls like that, do you the world of good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:
