I admire your determination and understand your desire to eat healthily and feel 'clean, full of energy and strong.'
As I said, I read your thread from beginning to end and just wondered if doing Diet Chef for a couple of months would give you that extra motivation with the pounds coming off in a relatively short time.
Personally I believe that my body has now adjusted to having less food and has certainly lessened my cravings for sweet things.
I wish you success and hope you achieve your goals.
Thanks,
I think I just need to apply the same determination that I used when quitting smoking and I managed that. Its all a case of learning new habits. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I have also requested a blood test from my doctor to check my thyroid levels are within the correct ranges.
Don't think of it as being ok just to fall within the range, Dr should also take into account how you feel, are there some symptoms creeping back in, if you feel rubbish tell them. FWIW I was told by my Dr to take the medication on a night and i'm checked every three months.First_Trouble wrote: »Thanks,

I stopped when my thyroid failed, pretty easy because I just couldn't be arsed! :eek:Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I'm going to go for the blood test in a week or two, should be enough time to allow the new eating style to kick in. I should know definitely if its the tablets or my food intake. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Thursday food & exercise
B: 2 egg spinach & chesnut mushroom omelette
L: LO Mushroom risotto & garden peas1 Chicken Enchilada (passata, mix peppers, red&white onion) and an avocado
S: ginger tea, 2 coffees, nakd bakewell tart bar (best ever!), 300g cherry toms, greek yoghurt medley
E: Walked 11,279, miles 4.26, burned 1869, ate 2015cals (est), carbs 153g, 5 mins HIIT
I was quite proud of myself today. I came off the train absolutely starving (my fault I didn't bring enough snacks with me) I had to pop to Tesco on way home to pick up some bits so I thought I will just pick up something. I immediately thought of a chicken and bacon mayonnaise sandwich and a little thought went off in my head "go on you can eat it all before you get home no one will know". I even picked it up in the store and looked at it. I made myself put it back I picked up some cherry tomatoes to eat instead! Progress!
I used to get this little voice when I was quitting smoking too and I used the same process. Do I really want it? How will I feel once I have had it. Usually its that you don't really want it or need it.That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
