eBay brings it out in you!! I was ranting for a whole day when someone left me positive dot with feedback saying please refund my delivery as it took almost a week to get here!

Paid for Sat afternoon...received Wed 2nd class postage they paid for..that's bloody fast if you ask me!!

Tell her that you have spoken to ebay this morning regarding this case. Say this:

This morning I have spoken to eBay about this as it is still ongoing and I wanted to know the best way forward. They have told me that as I am a private seller there is no obligation on me to accept returns just because something does not fit you. Ebay have been through the messages you have sent me and seen that the item is as listed so if you choose to file a fraudulent Item Not as Described they will refer back to these. I can see you are still unhappy though so as a goodwill gesture I will refund the cost of the item but not the cost of the postage either way - eBay will tell you this is you contact them to confirm this information with them. Please would you confirm what you would like to do as this is still ongoing and I want to get things sorted out before I go away for the weekend. Thank you.

If she wants to lose that much postage that is up to her. But you are not obligated to refund her this and eBay will tell you this as I have recently had this discussion over a private sale.

In the meantime, to send a PM, left click my name and choose send me a PM with that user name. I am all done out on fuitcake. I love you forever.

Oh, and I have the transcript relating to pretty much the same thing if you want to edit and change a few bits out and pretend it has come from them to you, LOL.

She has now left me a neutral feedback that says ‘awaiting reply from seller. Wish to return item is this acceptable to her??’

This is so not true and I have reported her, pointing out her other feedback left for others. I doubt that ebay will actually do anything, but one can live in hope.

Oh, and since last posting on this thread she has left more feedback on other purchases as follows -

Neg - The jacket although well described is too big for me. Will donate it to Oxfam

I have read most of this thread....really gets on my goat, that as a seller you are forced to deal with people like this. Ebay make next to no attempt what so ever to rein them in. The seller takes the hit in money and time.


i would have drawn the line a lot earlier. She needs to know she cannot get off with coming the ham.
