A little reminder from me to Ofcom!
Further to my email of 13th can you please acknowledge receipt and give me some indication of Ofcom's anticipated time scale to respond.
I have also been lead to believe that in its haste to acquiesce to EEs demands CISAS (the independent adjudicator) is now rejecting cases on the grounds of rule 2b (case already heard) for consumers who have never before contacted CISAS.
From a consumer viewpoint it does appear that something has gone dreadfully wrong with Ofcom's compliance with the Communications Act S52 and S54 when appointing CISAS as an ADR in this instance and I trust Ofcom will act quickly and decisively to correct this situation so that consumers can access an independent ADR as per Ofcom's statutory obligations.

MSE are working on reordering the first 2 pages of posts hopefully will be resolved by the weekend0

Well EE's deadline for a response was yesterday and I've not heard anything about my case being dropped by CISAS. What is the next step now? I'm really hoping that SCC is not my only option.0

You've had a previous case with CISAS so, there is a high likelihood that you claim will be rejected under 2b (like the rest of us).
On the plus side the fact they've not sent you a stalling email might mean they are not rejecting claims because OFCOM are intervening.
I would email them asking them for a copy of EE's response to your claim, and confirmation that EE have not yet asked for an extension.
and see where you go from there. i'd also follow up the email with a call because otherwise they won't get back to you until next week.0 -
you could be cheeky and in the interests of transparency copy in EE saying you've not received their response or notification that they have requested an extension0

I've just had quite an interesting chat with CISAS!
Apparently, as I haven't received an email from them stating that my case has been dropped, my case is still open and is due to be passed on to an adjudicator today as EE have not submitted a response. Quite strange seeing as my case didn't contain anything different to what has been posted in this thread!0 -

Sorry Mikmonken, I managed to get that info from CISAS over the phone, not via email. Unless you just want me to copy and paste my post into an email?0 -
that's cool, we just have to keep fingers crossed that the adjudicators are on our side this time round!! we all know RC's arguments are sound, and the fact EE failed to respond, either means they just missed one, or they figure they may as well accept they messed up and have given up, i'm hoping it's the latter!!0
