I'm still around, lost a post on Wednesday so just been reading. Thank you Just the two of us, I will try that next week. I am still doing Monday-kitchen, Tuesday-bathroom, but they will be clean if not tidy by tonight. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia so have to pace myself and just do short periods followed by a rest.

    So far this week

I have sorted out mums' care invoices and blue badge - can't believe a 91 year old has to go for an assessment when she has had a badge for medical reasons for 12 years, because she isn't blind or higher rate mobility. She doesn't drive, I do

    All banking done
New containers for bathroom bought-I will get my adult daughters to use them rather than leaving their stuff all over the bathroom.
Lunch with my pain management group friends
    15 min per day gardening
lots of washing loads done, dried put away
Bathroom- all mould cleaned, wall tiles washed and shined, bath suite really clean, just got to do windowsill and window.
Kitchen- have a large kitchen so divided it into three and no 1 is clear etc and have kept it so, other two works in progress.
Rest of house tidier but needs work
Have booked a holiday to Spain with youngest daughter, her friend has let her down about going. She has health problems and hasn't been away for 6years, so said I will go with her.
helped above daughter with WTC forms

Feel so much better about being able to manage the house now that I have some sort of schedule to work to. Thanks everyone for the welcomes. Will have some lunch and then tackle that bathroom window.

My mantra is After I ....I will. eg After I make my morning coffee, I will take my medication. Eventually this will become a habit,

Afternoon. Just popping in to report progress although there's nothing really crossed off the lists.

Livingroom is as tidy as it can be, DD has washed up once and is just doing a second batch now we've had lunch, my room is tidy and I've juggled the leaning towers of boxes in my room (mainly books from the livingroom moved out the way ready for when we start decorating next week) and then we've tackled all the gibble in DDs room. She managed to find some stuff for the charity pile and fling a binbag of rubbish just sorting out her desk :j All school things are now either in the wardrobe awaiting September or if its old school work its in a box ready to be sorted when her room is decorated ;)

I've managed to find 2 more empty boxes in my room so I'm going to box up some more books, then bleach the bathroom mould. I think at that point we should be up to just cleaning. DD will tackle the bedrooms and then start on the livingroom while I juggle washing, the bathroom, and jobs she doesn't want to do ;) Slow and steady progress seems to be the order of the day so I'm off to make a start on filling these boxes

Skinty best of luck with the group meeting; hope it goes well.

Yet another WM load done this morning - I wish I could work out where it all comes from! It's all dry now, hooray.

Button is very sweet, but she is amazingly strong:eek:; I'm very glad I now use a belt and thread the dogs' leads onto that for walkies, because there's no way I'd cope with her if I just had to hold her lead in my hand. She settled well, thankfully - it must be a tad confusing coming from her usual host to another one, rather than just going home (usual host couldn't do her whole holiday). We never heard a peep out of her last night, and she greeted us with an enthusiastically wagging tail this morning.:o She's here til Sunday.:o

filled 3 garden bags at mils, then trimmed her conifer and the strange yellow plant that ive been told smells of weed:eek: i kid you not when she went on holiday last year id popped round to check stuff and her then new neighbours told me theyd had the police round saying they were walking by and noticed a strong smell of drugs coming from their property. lady said she had to blame it on the 80 year old living next door and said it wasnt them but a plant she was growing. she said every time they drive past it and their van knocks the plant they notice the smell. the police sniffed it and went off saying they were satisfied no crime had been committed. mil found it very funny when we told her and said if that was the case anyone growing 'stuff' could just stick one of these shrubs in to mask it.
also gave the garage doors a good scrub down as they looked grubby.

going to finish helping DS pack now and get snacks ready for tonight pre hospital visit.

Found out tonight that DD is definitely sleeping out tomorrow so I can have a lie in on Sunday :j

DD is off to vacuum upstairs, and I'm going to put the end of the shopping away and tackle the kitchen. Really not much point in doing the bathroom until we've both been bathed :p Hopefully will be able to cross off the rest of the list before bedtime except the stuff on mine for tomorrow ;)

You are just gross though :p The thought of it makes me want to throw my kitchen in the bin!

Pounding head this morning.. off to drug myself and get a cuppa which I may not be able to drink without sicking..

But my ratties are very cute and cuddly and don't look anything like wild ones :p To be fair, I wouldn't be impressed with a wild rat in my house either (neither would they!!!). :rotfl:

Saw a great t-shirt the other day with a ratty on it and the words 'my rat thinks you're gross too' :p:p :rotfl:

Hope you're feeling better this evening x
