Good morning all. Just had to pop in and  to Skinty: sorry to hear about your DR woes. Well done with the shed revamp.
Dancemum, I have shed envy too.
Pigpen, I hope the rat goes very soon, one way or the other.
Valli, I'm sure your pupils' thank-you gifts were well deserved. Enjoy your holiday!
Mrs-mp, glad to hear that m-i-l is making good progress.
More (((hugs))) to Mum-to-5 and DD and more posivibes to Ginge.
LW, how did the kitchen fitters' visit go?
JTTOU, enjoy your new outfits :T
Thanks for all the Flylady compliments re the slimmer me.

DH had a great day on the railway yesterday and came home happy :) I managed to do some more paperwork, but it was s l o w....

    Today's tasks:
    - empty kitchen compost bin
    - water the pot plants and tomatoes
    - finish editing Unit 4
    - wrap and post books
    - mow the lawn
    - filing and tidying in the study bedroom
    - finish introductory leaders' notes and lists of materials for Units 1 2 3 4
    - quick spray of clay tea light holders made by the Old Wives, just to give them a bit of sparkle (not on the candles)
    - start a box for the Old Wives crafts

Doesn't sound like I'm doing much flying, but the kitchen and bathroom are clean and the downstairs rooms are quite tidy, and it makes more sense to me to do everything in one fell swoop once the DGSs have come (on Monday) and gone (on Wednesday). However, checking my diary, we have 2 days away at the end of next week, so proper flying will recommence from 4th August :o That week will be manic, as I still have to touch up paintwork and do other awkward little jobs before my brother and houseproud SiL come to visit

Back to the compost and paperwork for now!

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks all round. Hope everyone has a good day x

    Morning all.

Hugs, vibes, spoons, sticks and suncream to all :D

Only got washing done yesterday, then I got sidetracked sorting out files on my computer instead of scanning stuff. I know I have some of the papers already on the computer but I can't find them as all my documents were messed up. I managed to sort out my NVQ & OU work from 2008-2010 which I had about 4 copies of EVERY file, and thats not including the back ups of some work so 8 copies of those! I also managed to sort out some year specific files which were almost empty, now I'm working through photos which I've downloaded from my phone, again there are multiple copies of the same pictures so I'm deleting duplicates :o I still have 26GB/13,500+ files to go through and I bet at least half of those are duplicates

Today is a work day, collecting books in so not much flying will be done. I do need to book a Mr A delivery, we need cordial as we're almost out and lots of chiller/frozen stuff. We'd not be able to carry it home in this heat and a taxi with tip will cost about the same as the £4 delivery slot tomorrow so I might as well! ;)

WM x2 already done, dry washing dealt with. Now going to go and get washed/dressed and go see how may people have put their books out already. DD is coming with me ;) When we get back she can do a batch of dishes while I sort books, declutter a programme from the dvr then we'll go out again to see about more books ;) This afternoon the ironing, shopping & some more file sorting needs to be done. Might order DD's school shoes as well while I know I have the money. DD can drag all her school work down and sort through it as the recycling wheelie bin is almost empty and it gets emptied on Monday. Back out to work this evening to hopefully collect the last of the books, and then not much else will get done as we'll conserve energy for tackling the cleaning tomorrow. :p

Best move myself and nag DD to get done

Had a bad day yesterday so will need to play catch up. I spent 6 hours clearing and sorting the bedroom on Saturday so thankfully a lot of this has been done. Other stuff (the beds) is part of my Sunday routine. I've reduce the list to what needs doing as it looks a bit better to deal with.

Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    clean fridge
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
    Wipe patio doors
    Check dishwasher filters
29!fling boogie.. GO! - need to look up what this means
bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET

Tuesday Trashing- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Wipe house phone, sockets, switches
    Wash your bathroom mats

Wednesday Weirdness- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    [STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything[/STRIKE]
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    [STRIKE]Wipe plants[/STRIKE]
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
[STRIKE]Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc[/STRIKE]
Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it

Thursday Thllliiing!- Master Bedroom & Landing
    15 minutes...
Buy fire alarms – old fire angel is broken.
    30 minutes to spare...
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Vacuum mattress (need to add this to my Sunday routine)
Air the duvet – think I need to do this on the line rather than just by an open window
    Got an hour...
Vacuum floors on landing – I'd have to find the landing first :-( so will have to leave this until I have got into a routine with everything else otherwise I won't cope.
Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one. - see above
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
36 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
Clean all the upstairs door frames

    Updated at 19:11 Thursday
I haven't felt up to doing much today but I have deleted at least 1000 duplicate documents/pictures from my hard drive. I have also sprinkled salt on the cracks in the patio like someone suggested so hopefully at the weekend I might be able to get that area cleared x fingers.

I need to find a OS glass cleaner as the horrible green one I found in the cupboard is not so much of a cleaner as a streaker - just seems really really greasy and it needs something to cut the grease. Also, I can't stand the smell it gives me an headache.

3 lots of washing on the line. The line that is mysteriously lashed to the post with STRING.

On the garden - scattering of golf balls and, round by the rabbit hutch, a golf club. One doesn't need Poirot to work out who did what to what.
