(((Hugs))) Mumto5.
(((Hugs))) Lamewolf. I imagine they would like you there so that they are sure you have all the information about his post-operative care if he's to be discharged speedily back into your gentle care. But I'm not sure of that, so someone else may be able to put your mind more at rest.
I have had the most joyous of news - Mr Nifter has cancelled the rest of his booking! Never in a million years could I have asked for a happier outcome for me, to such an extent that I didn't even think about the financial hit that would mean for me when I got the news! He's a likeable enough chap but OH and I have realised we really, really like having the place to ourselves some of the time.
Yoghurt making going on, Mrs Dog's sheepskin rug has been put through the WM twice and OH has mended the clothes horse which buckled under the weight the other day. It may have had something to do with the seven loads I did on Sunday.
Msgnomey, as well as using the decluttering tips on this thread, I've also been following the blog 365 Less Things to help me wade through the carp in my office and the attic. I've found it's almost daily mini-missions incredibly helpful. Having said that, I think printing out their Beginner's Guide to Decluttering may have been an error on my part when I could have just downloaded it to a folder on the computer! That nine pages of cluttery paperwork is going to have to be cut up for scrap paper fairly soon, or the whole point of it is wasted.Better is good enough.0 -

Thanks HB. I think that's probably it - they're in for a shock when they realise he's going to be cared for at home by a cripple! *hollow laugh*
Mumto5 would you be offended if I invoked a special guardian to look after Ginge? If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Not bad for HHC x2.5!
I decided to just do the lounge today as it was in dire need of TLC. Will tag hall and stairs onto the day that includes spare rooms.
Also put in a load of washing and had a phone call about switching to a cheaper energy supplier.
Now for 10 minutes under the umbrella in the garden before a swim at the gymLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Thanks, family joke that's where we keep the giraffe. We call it the beach hut and use it as a room in summer to escape to.
