I'm afraid I've had to subscribe....mainly on the basis of the copious use of the term Knobjockey and how it makes me laugh!

    Hellooo!

I didn't manage to meet up with Bunny :( as I couldn't escape the office, booo. Her boyfriend is originally from Edinburgh though, so she comes up quite often. Will catch up with her next time!

I might have spotted a flat I'd like to buy. It's not at all the sort of property I'd been thinking about, but the location and price are good, it looks lovely from the outside, so it probably warrants a viewing.

    Bit scared, but nothing ventured...!

I can't seem to get a handle on my finances. I've been burying my head for so long that it's become a habit, and although I'm not exceeding any limits, I'm pretty sure I must have more debt now than I did a month ago.

I really need to get a grip. I think the stress is getting the better of me a bit just now, and things feel out of control. I should start making lists again, and get back on top of things.

Hello Daphne, lovely to see you here too! And you Butti, although you never really escaped me, thanks to the wonder that is FB! :D

    Ok, let's start small.

    Tasks for tomorrow:

    - Buy loo roll
    - Buy a small box file and finish the filing
    - Buy car tax online
    - Book viewing for flat

    Baby steps...or something? :o

I'm surprised you've not heard that one before. You must have had a sheltered childhood... ;)

Why are you scared about a viewing? Remember: no fondling...

You're all right...especially about the 'no fondling' rule. :D

I had just discounted flats because of the lack of private garden, but I realised that a) I can still *do* gardening, and I don't sit out in the garden anyway, and b) the kids can still play out in the communal gardens as much as they like, in fact they will likely have more space.

I tried to ring the agents but they are closed today, so have sent an email enquiry, with a few questions and a request for a viewing.

That leaves just buying loo roll, a box file and my car tax. And hurray, I have found my MOT certificate (in the drawer I keep my hairdryer, straighteners etc in, obviously...).

I've also finally got around to putting the legs on my sofa bed, put a load of laundry in/hung a load out and tried my first ever yoga workout. :T

Still feeling rather lethargic and lacking motivation, but managing to accomplish a few things.

I'm now going to carry on working on my *all new* spreadsheet, that will help me see my income/outgoings more clearly. I started off just putting a quick spreadsheet together for a friend who wanted one, but it's actually ended up being useful for me too. :)

I do feel like I'm taking some baby steps towards getting everything back in control now. :)

Ooh Daphne Descends, somehow missed the bit about your surprise baby when I read your message the first time. I didn't know you'd had one - congratulations!! (bit belated :D)

Definitely no more for me. I love the ones I've got, but I certainly have to dye the grey hairs more frequently these days! :rotfl:
