I'm looking to replace my awful Samsung Galaxy Y.
Will a Motorola E be better than what I have already?

I'm looking to buy one from Tesco direct with clubcard double up vouchers. Would it be a good idea to pay for some of the phone on a credit card? If so, how much.

Also looking for a reasonably priced flip case.
Also, best place to sell a Samsung Galaxy Y.

    thanks

    Undoubtedly.

Non-removable battery is the only disadvantage.

I don't see any advantages in paying by a CC.

    Check HUKD

The best place for the Galaxy Y is the bottom of a bath of acid. Awful phone. I had the displeasure of using one when my S4 was getting a screen replacement. They are truly terrible phones

I have to delete text messages when I get over 20.
I have 3 apps on it but I can't update them as there is no memory left.

If there is a non removable battery, what happens when the battery stops working?

Would a Moto g be better then?

All 'Moto's have non-removable battery - like iPhones and many other modern mobiles. For such phones normally the battery has to be replaced by a service facility, but I think many people can 'DIY' it.

Although I have no experience with the Moto's there might be an easy way of replacing the battery in them if something goes wrong. The iPhone 4 & 4S have really easy to change batteries (that's if you're not too scared to have a torx srewdriver to hand to do it)

The Moto uses the Motorola ED30 battery. It can be replaced with little more than the appropriate screw driver and a plastic knife to open the case once the back has been removed.

However, unless you have done this sort of thing before it can be daunting and there is the potential for causing damage to other components once the actual battery cover is removed.
  • Thanks, just bought the Moto E from Tesco direct.

In my experience phones with removable batteries have a lot more battery issues than non-removable ones.
