Let's wait for the indifferent response...0

Clarification wasn't needed. It's avoidance. There is only one description in any of the recent posts, it was blindingly obvious which one we are talking about. For the avoidance of doubt, post #201, paragraph 2 onwards of response
Namely; the first paragraph mentions electric elements( not a subject broachd by me-but mg agrees that it is to be disregarded).
So following on from that, paragraph 3 brings a kettle into the mix(gosh, really mixing analogys now) but I do agree with that discription, hot kettles are hot-really they are, who knew?!....
then we progess paragraph 4. The op never said they had the heater on. Fact. Also theres a statement that I "confused matters". Not true. I made a stand alone statement about my experience/quandry. Then mg started an arguement, happens alot Ive found. Some times he might win( not to my knowledge but statistically IT MUST happen.) So this results in a dispute regarding parameters.
So then we come to a range of descriptions chief among which is "instant cooling". Im not sure who has suggested this, but Im inclined to think this isnt possible due to convection(even if covered in say for example, a liquified gas) so again I disagree with this discription(who doesnt?)
Finally we come to the 2-5 minutes. I think I may disagree with that discription as I would assume thats varible depending on several factors: local atmospheric conditions, fan speed, type of vehicle, fuel used in said vehicle.
So I consider that answered. Hope this helps.0 -
Not really althought the below is specific. That brings its own problems...

Wow, we've managed to get one answer out of you, so let's try for another.
How do car heaters work then?0 -
And now another banal statement. Number 3 on my listOh and that's distraction. Number 2 on my listYou know, I was thinking that I was helping TD. Now I see that I was feeding the troll.
If TD is too troll-like to even pretend to understand, then I think this thread has become completely redundant (possibly as soon as post #3?)
Andy
Well the op got several correct answers, including mine(feel free to check), although sounds like som of the greenline motors arent switchable(not sure if thats relevant to the op or not)0 -

YOU gave a correct answer?
Where?0 -
YOU gave a correct answer?
Where?
See, this is what we are dealing with here. Are you saying that the VAG cars I drove didnt have switchable stop/start? Im sure there was, virtually certain but must admit, I dont have those cars now. Not withstanding the fact the others have found this to be the case too...but like I said, feel free to check.0
