But surely they must be obliged to respond within a certain number of days...?
not really
the BPA CoP says they should acknowledge within 14 days and reply within 35 days from the appeal, but in reality they could take up to 6 years to deal with and enforce an invoice, under the MCOL rules
obviously you could complain to the BPA about it if they fail the CoP0 -
I still haven't heard anything to my appeal, does anyone know how long they take to respond?
It seems they take about 4 weeks, so you should get the same as this poster, next week, as he appealed a few days before you did:

They don't send them - so what, it's the cancellation you want.

Not bothered tbh, just wondering as Redx said, the BPA CoP says they should acknowledge within 14 days,.0

Yep but the BPA CoP means little, even breaches of it don't win a POPLA appeal (not that you will need POPLA stage).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I get the occasional written letter confirming that, after considering my claims, and having revued their evidence, the matter is at an end.Not bothered tbh, just wondering as Redx said, the BPA CoP says they should acknowledge within 14 days,.
Only occasionally though.
The absence of the DRP follow up tells me they've sacked off chasing me.
Those i forget to 'appeal' i always get a DRP letter.0
