    Hey Maryland Cookie,

Had a busy weekend this weekend as it was my partners Christmas do!
I am still very busy with my surveys, almost all done with my xmas shopping, just a few more presents for the OH :) I am within budget though, and I have been so much more sensible.

Having a nightmare at the moment, really want to change jobs but struggling to find anything with as good pay as I get, but sick of all the stress that comes with my job. I am not saying I can't deal with it, but it is taking over my life.

Wish I did not have all of this debt because then I could take a pay cut and it wouldn't matter.

I get paid this Thursday so I will be back to update :D

How are you getting on? xx

Finally its payday, I have paid money off of all of my debts, but not the one im focusing on yet. I have to pay £180 per month to my Barclaycard which is one of my bigger debts and also £220 to a larger loan I have. I will discuss these later on in my debt free journey once I have paid off my OH's Mum.

I have still been focusing on my surveys, mainly opinion world and in the last two months I have took £30 in rewards which is good.

I will be back more regularly to update, next year is all about continuing to shift as much debt as possible :)

    Hi Diary!

I have been watching Dave Ramsay this evening, and I have decided to give his theory a try.... I have tried so many ways to get out of debt, so anything else to help is a bonus.

Step one of his plan, is to create a small emergency fund.... he is from America so said $1000 converted that is £641 ish.
I see the logic as it only takes something to go wrong with my car and I add it back to debt again. The emergency fund would stop this happening.

So my plan for now is to still make just above minimum payments to everything, but literally make as much money as possible from selling on ebay, and surveys to get my £641 as quickly as possible so that then i can move on to step two........

which is the debt snowball!!! cant wait!!!!

hope all of you have a lovely christmas :) xx

Also forgot to mention that I have been on the survey sites everyday, seems to be working out well on my way to £40 from one of the sites.

I also need to update my signature as I have made a payment to my larger debts.... £230 this month to the loan and £180 to barclaycard.
Looking forward to seeing this debt go down over the next year.

Me and OH are hoping to move together next year but we are going to rent for a year before buying, we havent lived together before so I thought it was wise!! :)
I want as much debt gone as possible so there isnt so much financial pressure on me.
(He has a very small amount of debt in comparison)

Also a bit of good news too share, an investment company i have always wanted to work for are potentially going to interview me and it would be an extra £8000 per year.
I wont get my hopes up to much yet, but it would make a huge difference financially, and will help clear this debt much sooner!

    :) x
