No running for me today! I was planning on it but the weather was really bad this morning so I got into the frame of mind of not going. Whooops!

I am 100% running tomorrow though, I feel awful I have sat here and eaten some crisps and chocolate instead of running! I need my mouth sewn together, that is the only thing that will stop me! ha ha

She is pleased, she has been waiting since June for it!! Onto the next debt now.... feels like it is never ending!
How are you getting on with your debt busting?

  • It was horrible weather here too, I really wish I liked running, but I always find it so hard, even when it's not raining!!

Just been checking my bank account on line, 19 days til pay day........I've had a NSD today, hoping to snag another couple this week. Doing ok taking lunches to work, trying to meal plan too, need to improve here though!

Crisps and chocolate sound lovely, I don't buy em so I can't eat em!!! X

I wish we didn't have crisps and chocolate in the house, but I live back with mum at the moment to save for my mortgage and she is forever keeping stocked up on them.
I can't run really long distance but my health is improving from stopping smoking! I find it easier to run than to get the motivation to go to the gym.. I don't know why.

Sounds like your doing really well, keep going! I have been taking lunch to work everyday and not spending. I'm trying as many NSD's as possible before payday next Friday! I will have to try a quiet weekend this weekend! X

You already seem like you have most of the techniques in hand - it really is just a matter of perseverance and time. It gets so frustrating and disheartening when things sneak up and set you back but like you have said, every 1p going in the right direction helps and it will feel so rewarding when you clear your debt, you are doing great so really all I can see is keep up what you're doing :T

Thank you! It's really nice to have support and hear that how I'm doing it is the most effective way! I'm getting a little obsessed I literally want to keep paying money off it! It's not a bad thing but I wake up randomly throughout the night with random ideas.

Massive congratulations to you for paying it off you must feel so relieved? Xx

    Hey Diary,

So today was yet another NSD, that's 2/2 so far this week, I had planned to meet with my friend for a drink at the pub but she couldn't make it which was a blessing in some ways as it means I did not spend any money!
I went for a run this evening at no cost to me of course, feel much better for getting the motivation today to actually go. Planning to go tomorrow too!

I have decided to start having a massive clear out, I have so much stuff that I don't use and don't need and nothing is particularly organised so bit by bit, draw by draw I am going to start clearing. Some of it will go onto Ebay, some I will bag up and take to the cash4clothes place.

Also another day of being smoke free, I am not exactly counting the days like I used to because this time it is forever. The tablets (Champix) are helping loads.... I get my prescriptions for free so I don't have to pay for them either ... although I do feel they are worth paying for. They have wiped any desire to light up every again, and actually the idea of smoking a ciggy makes me feel sick. All in all this is brilliant, as I am saving heaps of money and not adding anymore to debt at the end of the month to buy another packet. :D

I cannot wait until next Friday (Payday) to knock some more off of my debts. I did pay in a cheque on Saturday for £50.50 which was from my dental plan I do through work... its only £3 a month as its taken before tax, and I can reclaim up to £500 a year in dental costs. Bargain I think, and very money savvy of me!
I am planning to split the amount of the cheque down the middle and pay half to my Tesco CC and half to my emergency fund. Happy medium :D

    Until tomorrow.... x

    Thanks monz!
I am trying my best, I know my debt won't disappear over night.. I wish that was possible. It's just finding some kind of balance for me between paying debt and still having a life.

How are you getting on? Xx
